Hello everyone! Happy August! I hope this post finds you and all you loved ones happy and healthy!
I'm hoping that we get lots of entries this month, like in July! You guys really showed up and meant business!
This month's challenge is party themed! I'm so happy for the release of the new MISTI, I feel like celebrating!
This month I used my MISTI quite a bit with this card. I have a friend who is having a baby soon and made this for her. She doesn't know the sex of the baby, so I did it in purples.
The stamp set is from The Greetery, along with the streamer dies and cloud dies.
I hope she really likes it. The balloon with the flowers was a four step layering process....so I REALLY needed the precision of my MISTI. It was very difficult for me to get them aligned just right. But, luckily the MISTI always comes through.
Here's my card, I hope you like it as well!
Your challenge this month is to create a card or project with a party theme. Balloons, streamers, confetti, party hats, cake....you name it! Let's celebrate! Let's bring the party to SCS!

Beautiful baby card! I've introduced several friends to the Misti and all 4 have bought one now. LOL
It's too bad you didn't make a commission off that! Seriously, I'm glad we have groups of people who can show us how things work so that we can really decide if we need whatever it is. I have a small Misti, and I wish I would have purchased the big one for a few dollars more. Little did I know that the slimline cards would become so popular. Oh, well...

It's a beautiful day here, but the rest of the week is looking like rain. We need it terribly, so I'm not upset. Will definitely enjoy the day today, though.
I'm anxious to get home after work, though. I've got a delivery from The Ton and The Stamp Market that will be waiting for me.
Who are your favorite companies? At some point I want to watch Tim Holtz's Halloween live he did over the weekend. I see it's over 2 hours long...lol. I'll watch every second, though.

This is the celebration card I made for the MISTI Monday challenge...I did not use a MIST for this card but if I had needed one I happen to have 3 from which to choose!!!!
I thought I was going to need it for getting the words straight but I didn't need it.
I posted an engagement card. I used my MISTI to line up and double stamp my sentiment. I sound like a broken record, but it is just so darn handy for this!
I would love to see your card, but it says I am not authorized to see it saying I needed fan club member permission. I am a fan club member so do not understand the error message. I am sure it is a lovely card.
