Risky Business--- Should I buy SU's NEWest Paper Trimmer?

My previous model SU paper trimmer (the one EVERYONE hates) is finally on its last blade.


I've been all over YouTube and various blog posts (Googled) about it, but most are from SU demonstrators.
With all the searching, I did find out that the new trimmer is made for SU by a European company called: Vaessen Creative.
And that trimmer has really good reviews.


If you bought the NEW model, do you really like it? Or is it just *okay*?

Yes, I really like it. I almost always use a guillotine cutter but am using this one more and more.

It is well worth the money:
very little pressure needed to cut
cutting track is not removable so it doesn't fly out when you drop the trimmer
easy-to-read measurement markings
blades last a long time

You've gotten a couple of responses from non-demos, so I will not address the "really liking it" question, but I can add to Mary Beth's response by telling you that the top and bottom edges of the track have "bumps" that prevent your smaller paper strips from falling through. Does that make sense? Look at yours -- the top and bottom edges of the track are wide open.
