Good Saturday Morning & welcome to the Inspiration Challenge! It's my pleasure to be your hostess today. Hard to believe it's already August. Summer will be over soon & I'm really looking forward to fall.
This week's challenge is a site suggested by Gail (Mamasix) & we're headed to Miss Vogues.I found a lot of inspiration in the colorful clothing & accessories & I'm sure you will, too. For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, & since some sites have limited viewing areas, I've uploaded MANY images to help inspire you. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.

How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). NEED HELP GETTING A LINK TO YOUR INSPIRATION PICTURE?
If you are unable to grab the link of your chosen picture, (on some sites, you can't, it only gives a link to the whole collection), hover over the picture in the collection that you want to link to. On a windows machine, right click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture.
Julie- thank you for the fun challenge! I was inspired by the summer dresses with their bright colors at our inspiration site- used a unicyle riding frog for my central image, propped up with dimensionals. Added a hand lettered sentiment. My background is fabric scraps from my latest quilt, which was glued to white cardstock and dry embossed to lock it down and give it some texture. Here's Happy Hoppy Frog

Fantastic website just filled with inspiration - I told myself I didn't have time to play today but made the "mistake" of taking a peek at Miss Vogues . . . .I was hooked and housework will have to wait! Here's my card:

I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, catching up on some old challenges as well.
This website is inaccessible with an ERROR 502 message, so I went to Pinterest, but I'm not sure the Pinterest site is the same as the website, but hoped so! I found this black & white Misses Vogue pattern for inspiration with an angled wrap top plus horizontal belt: Misses Belted Wrap Top! I incorporated black & white, an angled pattern design with a horizontal ribbon band...design elements in the bodice.
This card is for an SCS friend who's birthday was missed in January and who's May 2019 Teapot Challenge was missed. The theme is "thinking of you" since her birthday was so many weeks ago, and I wanted her to know I was thinking about her on her birthday and after as it became more and more belated! In addition, this theme was an option for her Teapot Challenge as well!
