This week I've made a tutorial for you which I call, "bridge slider"
What you'll need: 1x slider piece: 8"-3 3/8" (20 cm-8.5 cm) score this piece at: 1/2", 2 1/4", 5 3/4", and 7 1/2" (1 cm, 5.5 cm, 14.5 cm, 19 cm)
2x 3 3/8"-3" (2x 7.5 cm- 8.5 cm) These will be glued on the glue tabs from the slider piece The front: 4 1/8"- 6 1/8" (10.5 cm - 15.5 cm) You'll die cut an aperture in the center from this piece, oval, square rectangle any shape will do but not too big.
2 strips from 3/8"- 4 1/8" (2x 1 1/2 cm - 10.5 cm) These will be glued on the backside of the front piece, adding glue only on the top and bottom With some pictures it will make sense.
You can stamp your slider piece now, the center will show up through the front aperture but don't forget to stamp on the both sides holding them closed together like here:
I've put the front piece over the slider to show you what you'll see at first
the 2 strips you'll glue on the backside of the front piece, I've die cut the center with an oval, take care to use few glue only on the top and bottom so your slider piece can slide through the strips like here
you can take it out and put it back easily so if you need to add something no worries I've cut small half circles on the front piece so you can push and pull the slider easier.
and mounted it looks like this
I hope you'll give it a try it isn't as difficult as you think You can use also designer papers or emboss parts of your card
