Date: July 14, 2020 Challenge: Wet-on-Wet Watercolor Technique Keyword:WCW007
Hi, everyone! Are you ready for a watercolor challenge? Ok, here goes. Today we are going to practice the wet-on-wet technique. I have included two videos that have inspired me. I really enjoyed simply practicing along with the first video. I made a lot of trash bin worthy pracitces! I have attached a sample of one of my practices. If you are not into freehanding your design I have also included Lydia's beautiful video of wet-on-wet with a stamped design. (You can use watercolor markers as Lydia does in this video or watercolor paint) Choose whichever video method appeals to you or try both! Simply upload a practice sheet or make it into a card and upload your card. The only real rule: have fun! Challenge: Wet-on-wet Technique. Feel Free to upload an unfinished practice sheet or create a card using one or both of the videos below!

Remember to use the keyword WCW007 when you are uploading. It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in case you made a typo and people may not find your card.
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread. 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

The videos always make it look SO easy - If I keep trying these challenges, I am going to have to let go of some of my OCD tendencies . . .is that even possible??Here is my attempt at wet on wet.
had to play a bit more. i've been needing to make multiples to catch up and replenish my stash. These will be made into cards. Altenew layered stamping and then i added wet to wet for the foliage surrounding. Thanks for looking. HERE

Polly your title made me laugh as that’s how many attempts I’ve had. Yours looks better than mine. I’ll post mine soon ladies. It was challenging for me. I’m a plonker lol.
