I had a relatively long, by my standards , list of eight tucked into my favourites, which is pretty good given that I never even made it to my desk for three days. Most were from Carla's WT798 challenge, including her own. I loved the fun ones and the serene peaceful ones. As well as those, I had lazylizard's sweet fairy for Barb, and jennifrann's wonderful TLC card. Jen's WT card was one of the sand 'n ' surf ones on my list.
I think I added half the sand and surf cards and about that many of the no line watercoloring challenge cards to my faves pile! Not kidding - they all spoke to me.
Also loved the fairy cards done by Polly (peeps321), Helen (helekins), and Susie. Pat's moonlight mice (kokirose) was enchanting as was the really cool beach shirt made by Angella.

Check out the FS698 and CAS591 galleries too if you have time. I always try to browse generally so I spot cards not entered for challenges too. I too would have had quite a few beach cards in my favorites list. Hope we will be back soon.

I haven't been online since Wednesday (so I apologise for not having had time to look at the WTUI challenge gallery from Thursday, let alone anything else. I had a few favourites tucked into my gallery from earlier in the week, including cards from
I hope everyone celebrating yesterday had a safe and enjoyable Independence Day. Today we are celebrating DH's birthday so I'm not going to be online much today either!
Just a reminder that while we love links to check out- and that is the whole idea of this thread - while the Favourites thread is on a break, so are the notifying team. So - please do link, just remember that the people you link won't be notified.
Hello, I wanted to share some great cards from some wonderful galleries that I visited this week, and a number are artists I really admire so much, whose work teaches and inspires me, and I appreciate it.
As well, I am so very thankful for the wonderful team of notifiers who work so very hard when the Favorites of the Week is normally going on, and I wanted to thank each member of that team. I look forward to seeing the Favorites come back when the issues are solved.
Here are some cards I particularly enjoyed this week, or recently--
I know that these won't be notified, but I do hope that you will go onto their galleries and leave a comment or two which is always a great encouragement to any artist.
Thank you to all the kind, encouraging members who show support to other members by leaving comments and helping their fellow crafters in a multitude of ways. I have met the most wonderful people here and I am very thankful!
Have a great week, and I am hoping that we will be able to have our regular Favorites of the Week soon. I know that whoever is working on this is doing all that is possible to get this problem solved.
Is there any word on when the Favorites of the Week can return once the technical problems have been solved. I am missing being able to post my Favorites, I am posting some CAS Favorites but others of mine don't fit in the CAS category. I'm not trying to be pushy at all, and I apologize if this comes off in that way, I am just very interested in when it will be able to return to SCS. I really enjoy seeing what other members choose as their favorites too.
I hope that everyone is having an excellent week. Please stay safe and healthy everyone.
How I appreciate Splitcoaststampers, I have met the neatest people here and I feel very blessed, and I learn from seeing the artwork of others, plus I learn from checking out the tutorials as well as some of the threads--this is a GREAT place!!!
There is a patch release today that will hopefully fix some of the site issues. Our team will start testing once it's been released. Cross your fingers and toes! If all goes well, we will resume this weekend.
That is exciting news, Carla!!! Thank you to you and to all of the team who work so hard to notify those who have been chosen as a Favorite of the Week, I know that it's a lot of work, and that it's necessary to have the system working properly to make your job a reasonable one to do. We will certainly be very grateful to have this thread back when the system is working again!
Best wishes to you, and thank you so much for giving that update, I really appreciate it!
I'm sorry to say, but we're still on hiatus. Our team tested posting lists with inconsistent results. So to keep our sanity in check, we'll wait for the late August upgrade. Thank you for your patience and we all look forward to sharing our favorites!!!
Here's the link to Lydia's post on the July 30 site update, see below. "These are patches until we can upgrade the editor to the shiny new one. We will wait to install that until after DTGD because a) it will take a month to test and b) we don't want to all lose our minds during that event."
Dina's MIX sample card was beautiful - that was in my favourites this week. As she has so many tutorial samples stickied, you have to go to the second page of her gallery to find current work: dini Member Gallery - Page 2 - Splitcoaststampers.com
Denise's (card crazy) cards are always beautiful. She used an Irish postage stamp on her WT card this week . DH still has a card she sent him on display on the bookcase downstairs: card crazy Member Gallery - Page 1 - Splitcoaststampers.com
Well, I had no CAS favorites from last week, only divinely complex beauties, but I'd strongly suggest checking out these lovelies should you have the opportunity!
