One of the qualities of music is the tone- and when the tone starts out low and increasingly becomes louder, it is called Crescendo!!!
For this Crescendo challenge- try to make a water color panel that starts out light in tone and increasingly becomes darker. You can use many mediums to watercolor- Watercolors, Distress inks, reinkers, stamp pads, markers, etc.... -Do NOT to use colors that are complimentary next to each other, as they blend, they will turn to brown (Purple and yellow, Orange and Blue, Red and Green). -To lighten a color, add more water drops, and for a darker color less water. -You do NOT need watercolor paper to do this technique. Do not dry between colors unless you want the look of the lines of the color at the edges (called harsh lines in watercoloring).

Shelly, I had so much fun playing with my watercolors, that I had to make another card. I started with yellow and progressed through the colors to purple. (light colors to dark)
