My kids wanted to add in some extra challenges for you: Raleigh would like to see you use a colored cardstock instead of white. Desmond wants you to add glitter to your project. I want you to have loads of fun!!
BONUS: When this challenge goes LIVE I am hosting a ZOOM meeting so we can chat face-to-face with as many crafty sisters as log in. I will also be posting to this thread but wanted to offer the fun of more LIVE action. It is simple to do: just type the meeting address into your browser. ZOOM supports Chrome, Safari, and Foxfire but not Explorer. Jennifer Lewis is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting;
Jen, this was such a fun challenge and my two grandchildren had such fun with it. Only problem now is every time they come over they want to do "that shaking thing with ink" grandma!!
Hope everyone gives this a try!!
And your children are so cute and a great inspiration to us!
I have to go to the store for some spoon cake ingredients I need to make for dessert tonight, going to a friend's for dinner, and I have no beans. So that's on the list. I suspect my granddaughters could make a mess with this. I'm excited to try this with them sometime.

Oh my goodness! That looks like fun! I'm at a crafting retreat and when the supply list said a small covered jar...I thought "tiny" I brought a jar that is 2" tall. I'm not fitting too much paper in that! LOL I'll have to do this one when I'm back home! Ha ha!

Here's my card...it was great chatting with you all. Desmond suggested I use red, white, and blue as my paints so that's what I went with and turned my background into a patriotic card. Thanks for the fun challenge...your boys are adorable Jen!
Finally got mine finished. I think I used too much paint and this panel was the second one I put into the container. But pretty cool technique for the kiddos.
For my card I used both colored card stock and glitter. I forgot how much fun this technique was. I used marbles instead of beans with the pink, white, and blue acrylic paint.
Hi - I am cutting it close - just finished this as my last one remaining in all of the VSN challenges for June. I will try the technique again with more time - needed to use more contrasting colors, I think. Didn't have any beans, so used vase filler marbles.
