Round 13 – Loving Letters! Some of our letters need some love and have moved up and joined another letter for that week. For those loving letter weeks, you MUST use both letters on your cards. Anything goes though, colors and images!

Catherine, thank you for all the comments on my card, so appreciated.
I am behind now on commenting! Needed to get the masks sewn for us for use for today as we go out to sign our will/trust documents! We will stay in the car and they will bring the documents out to us.
I agree, Melody, participation is up a lot for VSN! Flowers are such a happy way to send well wishes to friends and family so I think lots more are joining in!
Melody, you have some gorgeous flower stamps!!
Catherine, loved all of your cards for VSN, so creative!
PS. format of the challenge post is still weird, I could not get proper spacing between the keywords, dates, and letter of the week.
We took a chance and went to the Verizon store I knew was open. I always go and pay our bill in cash but wasn't sure they'd let me in since they say they are there for critical issues only. When he came to the door I asked if I could pay my bill. He asked if I knew how to use the kiosk. I said yes. He let me in! I was so happy because I wasn't sure how to pay it any other way. I was praising the Lord all the way home! I was also telling DH to step on it because I had to pee on the way up and it was a 25 minute drive one way! All restaurants are drive thru only so I couldn't go inside and even if I could, I probably wouldn't have.
Not complaining, Ann. It shouldn't be too hard, since we use lots of letters on one card usually anyway. Thanks for thinking up new ways to do this challenge. We don't want to get bored! LOL
Good morning! Lots of chatter and I don't really have time to respond as our Zoom staff meeting starts shortly.
Let's see how much I can get in before I have to go set up for staff meeting:
Kandie, your comment about the newscaster's dress reminding you of Easter reminded me of the funny I saw that said they had revealed this year's line of Easter dresses and the photo showed summer weight robes (I think they used to call them house dresses).
I'm so sorry about how you got the news of your friend's passing. I had a similar experience about how I found out a favorite boss of mine had passed away. I still don't understand how NO ONE thought to let me know - by email, Facebook, or something!
Sorry, Sharon, I'm going to be keeping her quite busy helping me eliminate things that I should have eliminated on my own years ago (probably). She will, at least, let me keep things, lol. She did take a couple of things into her room which made me happy. One was a lamp made by one of my uncles and another is a favorite turquoise decorative bottle of my mom's. I have kept it because the top of the bottle looked like a microphone to me so I used it as a mic when I was a kid playing!
I'm sorry you got snow, Annette, the photo is lovely though!
Ann, I have more commenting to do on your cards but you are such an overachiever! It is taking me a while!
I found out about a friends passing about a year after she was gone! She was elderly and we used to volunteer together but she moved in with her daughter. So I sent her a birthday card as I usually do. A week later I got a very nice note from the daughter, apologizing for not letting me know her mom had passed.
DH has a zoom meeting tomorrow.
DS went fishing a little. It was too cold to stay out, but he caught a large mouth bass! First fish of the season!
Melody, I know you were just kidding!! LOL!! I did think more then once on month might be too much so kept it simple.
I am worried too Kathy about having to pee when we go out! We are going to stop to vote too, drive in only for voting, but told my spouse I might be able to hold it for going to both places.
In San Francisco most rest rooms are locked so that no homeless people live in them, that was so weird when we were last out there to grasp. Even their McDonalds bathrooms were locked and you had to ask for a key.
Good afternoon all!
I can't believe it's already time for Round 13! Fun challenges Ann!
Kandie, sorry to hear about your friend. I'd imagine that's going to happen more often now with the social distancing. :(
Kathy, what fun videos! Made my day...I was starting to feel a bit down.
We had to take our Sadie to the Vet because she started acting lethargic and she'd cry if you touched her head. We thought she had a tooth infection as she quit eating, too. We had to meet the vet in the parking lot and they took her in the clinic. Poor baby. She has some kind of infection behind her eye, so she's on antibiotics and pain meds. We have to take her back in a week to see if it's better. $500! Wow! Vets are more expensive that Dr.s.
What a challenge to get the pills down her throat, especially since she doesn't want us to touch her head. I feel so bad for her. They don't understand that you're trying to help them.

Staff meeting is over and I popped in here to see what was happening.
Love those videos, Kathy! Such fun.
Aww, poor Sadie! I want to give her a hug, Gracie! She looks so sweet. When we had to give Honey pills after her surgery, we just put them in a dab of peanut butter and she gobbled them up.
Those homemade pill pockets look like a great idea, Annette!
I don't know how they did the technology for this one, but I thought it was well done:
I like that floor plan, Kandie! Today, since it is a bit warmer than it has been, I'm working from my bedroom as I'm tired of always being in the living room with DH working behind me in the dining room. During this quarantine, I'm really missing my former home with all its rooms. That house was actually smaller than this one but this one feels smaller because it is just a great room concept. I liked having my family room, living room, dining room, kitchen and that would work better now since we all have to stay home for school and/or work (though DD1 still goes out to her work).
Catherine, I agree. Everyone always wants the open concept. This duplex has one big room for kitchen, dining room, living room, and then, besides that the staircase down to the family room is all open. So you can hear everything up here down there and visa versa! Not too bad, since it is just DH and I, though. We only can go into bathrooms, or bedrooms to have any privacy. My .craft room is one of the bedrooms.
Ann, love your Alpha plan this time. You always come up with good ideas.
Linda, praying.
Oh, Gracie, your poor doggie, looks so sweet.
Well, I got two more cards done. Two challenges left.
I'm so impressed with how you are doing, Sharon! That is awesome!
When we were still living in our former home, I had a friend tell me I needed to take down the wall that separated the living room/dining room L from the family room. I told her, "No, I don't!" I like having separate rooms - especially with my piano! I could go play piano in the living room and the family could still converse without difficulty in the family room.
I think this house feels smaller too because the bedrooms and bathrooms are bigger than our former house.
Catherine, I really think making the cards has been good P.t. Every day things get better for me. I don’t know if I told you but last week I could not open the cans that open with that flip top thing. Last night I opened a can like that without even thinking about it. Yay. Also last night I took a bath and got out before I realized it. Again just last week, it was hard to get out of the tub, because I couldn’t ,e
Lean on my hand. Remember, I am not a young chick! 74! LOL
Something else, I blew dry my hair and used my flat iron to style my hair! Wow!
Just little things I am Noticing.
So yes I am better! Still stay swollen though , can’t wear my wedding ring yet.
I have had so much fun being I. My craft room crafting! Three months that I didn’t!p
It is like every thing in my craft room is new! Love it!
Glad you got your attorney appointment and voting taken care of, Ann. Thanks for the message from Vickster. So sorry that her eyes are hurting so much. Praying for her. It felt strange to not have her fun popping in for VSN.
Just was doing the bubble art challenge, that Dawn dish washing liquid bubbles like crazy!! Didn't take much, maybe a fourth of an inch on the bottom of a 3 ounce little cup.
Goodnight Ann! I remember that a delivery truck went into the ditch last year too! Funny the things we remember! I might be able to put my VSN and Alpha challenge together. I have 5 cards left!
Catherine, I don't have a door on my craft room but our house is in the shape of an octagon and I'm down a hallway past our bedroom. Sometimes, you just want your own space.
Sharon, it's awesome how far you've come since breaking your wrists! So happy you're able to craft and do everyday things again! Such a relief for you, I'm sure!
Kandie, the perfect floor plan! LOL
Sending up prayers for Linda and is Vicki! Hugs!

I’m back..after 2.5 days and a very sore head, not being able to breathe properly and talking as though I had something stuffed in my mouth, I’m just grateful today to wake without feeling as though something is clamping my head together. It’s going to be a good day and I hope to reacquaint myself with my craft room. I was ready to kill for coffee as DH took me off milk thinking that was triggering my sinusitis. He’s given up although he did put me on some meds that I keep for my sinus and boy they zonked me out. I have slept for Oz.
Ann, wow that’s a mess they made of your driveway. Thanks for the new challenges..looking forward to them. Say hi to Vicki and hope she comes and plays soon.
Thanks for the funnies ladies...I now only look at funnies or music videos on my FB. There’s some good ones but I wouldn’t be allowed to post on here lol.
Gracie, sorry to hear about your dog..I think I came out in sympathy with her. Hope she’s improving.
Not sure what other chat I’ve missed but I will say bye for now. I just wanted to say hello. I have to head out to get essentials...I do not want to go.
Happy creating. Hugs

I'm in the group that remembers the driver mishap with Ann's drive last year too. This is getting to be a regular thing at your house. What a mess he made!
That bubble art is fun, I did that last year some time, I think I saw it on Youtube and it looked like fun.
An octagon shaped house, Gracie? What fun!
Jayne, glad you are feeling better. I finally decided to drink my coffee black - to reduce calories.
I'm so glad for what we've been getting done around here. DD2 helped me go through my clothes. I have a lot to donate, a big pile of trash (DH will use as rags in the garage), and the items I'm keeping are carefully put away. I'm probably keeping things I shouldn't keep still but it is WAY thinned out.
Sharon, DD2 would be happy to come and help you sort things. She loves doing it.
Hi Catherine! Way to go with the thinning out of your things. I love sorting, but it's hard for me to get rid of anything related to my crafts! I've had a few thrift sales, but boy was it hard for me to sell stamps...LOL I sold some paper, too. I can get rid of clothes much more easily!

Whoohoo...I am hoping to do some more but not going to try and attempt them all as I want to do some scrapping. I’m just going with my mood and flow lol. It’s better than the past few days. Boy I was so grumpy and just slept as much as I could to try and ease the headache. Phew..that’s eased thank goodness
Our weather is 29 degrees today...perfect winter weather. It gets cooler in the evenings and I’ve brought the 3/4 pants out but still in t shirts. Some days I just pop on an old maxi dress and float around the house lol.
Good work on the decluttering Catherine. I went back to milk in my latte today...I would have killed otherwise...eek..lol.
Jigsaw, book, craft. I am finding I just don’t have much mojo. I need a big kick up the butt. Let me see if I can find a funny to share and that’s not rude lol.
