Hi I've just joined the site and looking forward to sharing my cards and learning new techniques. I have been card making for about nearly 5 years but about 2 years ago I had a break from it and for 18 months didn't do anything card wise at all. In this time, I sold all my card making things accept for a Stampedous little house mouse stamp, I just couldn't bear to part with it. Sadly last Christmas we had a bereavement in our family and one afternoon I got this stamp out and made a Christmas card best I could but it didn't half cheer me up. Since then I have become hooked again and have been building my craft things up ever since, I have even set up my first blog !! I can honestly say it is such a rewarding hobby and I am so glad I have come back to it, it's like saying hello to an old friend and it really helped me overcome some sad days. This time I will never ever get rid of any of my craft things! That was an expensive lesson learnt :lolo:.
Hello and welcome! I took a break about 7 years ago for 2 years and now I am stamping more than ever!! I love it and I enter challenges all the time to keep me trying new techniques and new color combinations.

Thanks for listening..
You are certainly more than welcome. Check out the daily challenges on the homepage and join in. I'm sorry for your bereavement; four years ago I too had the same experience, my youngest brother and my mom four months apart. Stamping has kept me sane. LMK if you have any questions. Jean
