Scrappin' Challenge 2020Can you believe this is our 12th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?!
We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2019 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2020! Let's keep scrappin'. It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2020! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops... What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process!
Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. *In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us. You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends. Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2020 Scrapbook Challenge!
Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends! We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc20jun"

I don’t have a YTD total and haven’t counted how many pages I did in May. I’m like Jan, I just like to go with the flow but I will be scrapping even if life is getting back to the new norm at present here. We had our first outing today..all socially distanced. It’s become the new norm.
Happy June scrapping

I got one double layout done yesterday and another one started! My youngest has spent every scrapbooking day in the last few weeks asking if I can please make a new page for her. Then when she tried to show her daddy last night and he got distracted looking at pages she's had a while, she would get exasperated with him and cover the page so he'd keep going to find the new ones, ha! So here's one for her:
Here is my first for the month. Sayonara by AnniePanda - at Splitcoaststampers
I did it pretty quick (for me) and was happy to get it together with no procrastination. I just want to do more this month - just scrap it!
I had a break from the quilt because I'm waiting on another supply for it. I've made good progress and it was time to scrap again. Probably tomorrow too!

Wow so many of you have started scrapping already. I have some birthday cards to sort out today and then I am scrapping. Enjoy.
Phew...I was so far behind on commenting on your pages. Sorry ladies but I have now caught up on all of them for May.
Amy, your last page in May reminded me of our son's tee ball page I scrapped....it was my very first page...22 years ago. I must get it out. I attended a workshop on scrapbooking and the rest is history LOL.

My first for June. I’m hoping to do an average of 2 or more pages per week. I don’t like to set high goals because then I feel bad if I don’t meet them. But if I manage to exceed my goals, then I feel good.
I have several pages to do on my high school and post high school/ engagement. 1965was a good year, going to grade 13 ( first year college equivalent) and enjoying planning for my wedding in the fall. This page was summer 65.
I completed 10 layouts in May, bringing my YTD up to 45. I think I will shoot for 10 again in June. The kids are out of school but I don't want them to spend all day on the Xbox, so I am teaching them world history from the fall of Rome to early modern times. Not sure how much prep time that will take, so I don't want to overdo my goal.
Cheryl our eldest GS loves his grandad to tell him history stories I will send him round to join you. Good on you for keeping them learning as it’s a long holiday with no lessons especially after all this lockdown.
I have 15 pages done year to date. I will post a goal of five for June.
You can still do the May technique Challenge. The link is in my signature line. I will post June’s Technique Challenge soon. I have been making hostess samples for VSN. If you haven’t already, try the VSN Mini challenges. That is in my sig line too.
My goal is to make 2 pages for every month for the rest of the year. I am starting in June, so 12 pages this year. I know it's not much but I have been busy crafting still making cards and decor for our Grade school library. Thanks for the challenge!
Nice going, Jan!
We are still having lots of rain. The dreariness is starting to get to me.
DGD sent us some delightful photos of the littles and I got a few photos printed at Walgreen's yesterday. Hope to play today.

Good morning, everyone. Welcome to a new week! I just posted the June Stash Busters Challenge, so pop on over if you need some inspiration to kick-start your crafting for this week. Here's the layout I completed using the challenge:
I see your challenge Cheryl, and thank you for posting.
Doesn't seem to be many of us chatting, hope you are doing something crafty anyway.
I have some cards completed and a layout on my table that is still needing work.
What's everyone up to lately?

Hey Sharon, about this challenge, it is something I want to explore. In fact, I just watched a live Zoom class on what to do with pocket cards. Not exactly your challenge but it helped me realize the potential of my many cards. I think I shy away from making pocket pages because I don't seem to have the feel for decorating them well. Your challenge has inspired me to play. I certainly have enough photos to play with!

Hi Joyce Ann, I needed some time out this week although I have been crafting but a mixed media challenge someone set me. I will post what I made tomorrow. Was fun. I haven’t scrapped this month yet but will be scrapping this week. I usually wait for the challenges as I need direction. Take care everyone.
