Hello Crafters, Kia here with you this week to get the Favorites Thread running. I hope my American neighbours are enjoying the long weekend. We had ours in Canada last weekend.
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week, Sunday, May 17th, through Saturday, May 23, 2020. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.
Got a CAS card favorite? Look for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week thread in the Favorites Forum.
Our dedicated team members are on the job delivering notifications and smiles:
Carla (Covington Crafter), Linda (bubblestx4), Janine (Jay_Bee), Amy (Kalla Walla), Kia (kiagc), Angie (ohmypaper!)
I will list only a few of my faves as I don't want any link problems in this post.
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you.
Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly. WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site or prepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
The card maker’s SCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry. And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU listed in your favorites for this week.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Kia, thanks for starting the favorites this week. I didn't get to spend a lot of time creating or browsing this past week, so my list is smaller. Here are some of the beauties that caught my eye.
Ha, I hear you on the crossing everything, Janine. Me too - since I never once came upstairs yesterday I didn't get my post prepped as I normally would, so I'm just posting directly here. There was at least one other day during the week when I never made it upstairs, so I was surprised to find more than usual in my Favourites this morning.
Thank you Kia for starting the favorites thread this week. Thank you to the terrific favorites team for sending the happy mail to the wonderful card designers on this tread. We really appreciate you volunteering your time to notify.
Wowza, Thank you Miss Susie, Niki and Janine (x3) for adding my cards to your favorites this week. I really appreciate being on your incredible lists of favorites this week sweet friends.
Just when I was getting used to being home all the time, I got called back to work . . . That left me NO craft time this week but I did manage a quick walk through the galleries where I found these beauties.
Thanks, Niki for mentioning my sketch challenge card this week, and Lynn and Linda for mentioning my ABC "H" card this week. Thanks Janine for informing me of this honor.
