Default How to deal with sequins

I just bought a big organizer for my sequins instead of having them in their individual bags. However, it was a pain to empty the bags into the little containers. Quite comical at times as they would literally jump out of the containers. I have good tools to pick them up but it's only one at a time. Any hints of how to not have them so much static cling? They stick to my hands, my clothing, etc. Thanks.

Dryer sheet. Wipe your hands, the container, the outside and a bit inside the bag. And wear short sleeves. Cold, dry air makes static electricity worse, and I’d noticed some brands are worse than others.

I found out, that if I add a tiny bit of babypowder to the bag, and give it a good shake, as it helps a lot and remove the statics, before I take them over into a container. Hope it makes sence to you? But this has worked really well for me.

I've been there! LOL LOVE bjeans idea! I TRY to get sequiins that come in their own containers, like 28 Lilac Lane (Little metal tins), but sometimes, I do try other brands & have to use a container like you've mentioned. AND that is when I came into the same troubles you've had. LOL It's like they don't want to be confined, trying to escape! ;) But, even still with using the containers they come in, those little metal tins, they still want OUT! LOL

One suggestion: You might try dumping them into a Bead Smith Magical Tray first & then use it to put them in the container. It is triangular in shape & makes it easier to get them in the container! ;)<3
