What's the latest update on when the new colors will be announced? For some reason I thought it was this past weekend, but I haven't seen any announcements. Thanks in advance.

I actually loved the look of the new colours, maybe be stuck at home that my tastes have changed, lol. Nothing much else hit me though. Lorri
I like the new in colors, for the most part. Generally only a couple of the new colors really feel inspiring. I can see a use for most of these colors. I do agree that a soft yellow would be nice. The yellow in colors are always so muddy, like morning marigold, summer star fruit and hello honey.
Thanks for the link. I am always excited to see what is coming out. Unfortunately, from
what I can see, there is nothing new... when you have seen colours since 2006, none of these has much to offer me. I am interested to see comparisons with past retired colours, not the current ones. But I am going back to the link for another look!
I agree with cardmaker2 - it would be nice to see comparisons with past colors, as these look remarkably familiar in many regards. I wish that he would have put Lovely Lipstick next to the Magenta Madness, even - it seems closer than Flirty Flamingo for a comparison. And how does Bumblebee compare to So Saffron or Summer Sun? I got off the InColor train several iterations ago, as it seems like they just barely tweak an old color to convince you that you need a new one. There are literally NO clear colors in the lineup - all are muted or grayed-out or whatever. Where's a nice, clear orange? Or purple? Or yellow? Or pink? Whether I'm using pastels or more vibrant colors, I prefer color that is not muddied.
There is another blogger that always does a really good in color comparison to the closest older colors but I can't remember the name of her blog! I'll bet someone else will. She usually does CAS cards, and her blog (I think) has "Pretty" in the name, if that's any help. An SU demonstrator.

I think you are talking about Mary Fish of Stampin' Pretty.
If I remember correctly, Rachel Tessman of Stamp Your Art Out does an excellent comparison with retired colors and shows the cardstock samples side by side. Demonstrators will be able to pre-order on May 5th, so look for some comparisons with the actual cardstock after that date.
I dont like them. They are too washed out for me...they remind me of the old Southwest pallette with a greyish tone. Esp the blue. The brown seems to be a good add for their existing colors.

Just checked it out (thanks for the link), and I'm not impressed. The colors look only slightly different than recent/current colors...
I agree. The only color that I might be interested in is Misty Moonlight. From what I can tell, on my monitor, is that it's a deeper dusty blue. I'm always on the look out for more subtle tones that coordinate with what I already have.
Some of the new colors are so similar to current or older ones that I can barely tell the difference.

I think the blue looks a lot like Buckaroo Blue and the pink looks like Pink Passion. Both are from eons ago.
I hadn't seen Buckaroo Blue when they had it. Is it a dusty blue? The old blues that I have all had a turquoise cast, except for Night of Navy and Bashful. I need a medium or deeper blue without a hint of turquoise

I was hoping for a really soft, pastel yellow, similar to the Barely Banana that was d/c'd a few years ago. So great for making baby cards
This is the big reason I bought all the SU inks in the 2010 color series. I bought them in 2010 I don't know if that is the series so don't scold me SU girls. I wants those beautiful pastels. It is so hard to find pastels in inks.
On to the New Colors-
Cinnamon Cider has potential. I like the greyish tone of Misty Moonlight. When I think of Misty Moonlight I think more purple/white. This is more blue/gray.
I like both of those for nature colors.
I agree with Wavejumper it is a very Southwest Palette.

Yes, where are the pastel dye inks? I never got Barely Banana back years ago because I didn't think I would use it. Now I wish I had gotten it because, once I saw it used on cards, I realized it would be so great for baby cards or florals.

I like these new In Colors a heck of a lot more than the 2019-21 colors! I haven't purchased any of them -- absolutely none of them grabbed me enough to want to create with them.

Thank you for this - it shows a much more "real" comparison than most I've seen. The Cinnamon and Magenta have now moved onto my "maybe" list...

Wow, what a great color comparison on this blog! I love how she compares to colors from really old collections as well as from more current ones. I've subscribed to her blog now after seeing what she offers. Thanks for linking to her blog.

Not liking Jade, it is waaaaay too 80s. I love Bumblebee and Cinnamon. Meh on the blue and the magenta. Barely Banana was the first pad I ever bought!
When I think of the color Jade, I think of a really clear and deep green (like a piece of jade jewelry that my mom always wore). The new Jade doesn't feel like Jade to me.

I was struck by that too. I am actually looking for a grayish-blue and grayish-green, but ALL of these colors are gray or muted. I'm surprised.

My new In Colors just came today and I do love them all! The ribbon is incredibly soft, too. I made a card that has all of the colors on it and they look really good together! I'm excited to send them out with the samplers!
