It's Monday, it's housework day, I had a lousy weekend, so I went with a fun upbeat card. Definitely will try this again. Thanks, Lyn.

Sweet little fold, made it quite simple so it could work for the CAS:

Thanks Lyn for the challenge and the nudge to try this idea. It just took me a little longer. I found it was not as difficult as I thought it might be. Thanks for introducing me to this card technique!

I am playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking and catching up on my SCS postings.
Challenged to make a Front Flap card with the linked SCS Tutorial. My bad, I thought I knew what this was, so I made my card. Its front flap folds a like a normal card front that is not the full width of the base. It also has a smaller flap attached to the front fold over flap. It turns out the SCS version opens vertically from bottom to top and is also not the full width of the card front matching the card back. It starts with a single-layer, open-faced card base to which is added a smaller fold card but with card front and back the same width. This smaller folded is adhered to the open-faced base with its fold at the top and opens vertically from bottom to top. I'm posting my version, because I think its it is a front flap, just a different version!
Here is my card:
