Favourites for the week ending April 18, 2020
It's Sabrina here starting this week's Favourites Thread. Thank you to everyone who takes time to participate and spread a little happiness. I think we all welcome it in these times particularly, when stress or worry can leave us feeling mojo-challenged, and when any extra cheer goes a long way. I hope everyone is staying safe and well, and managing to get all the crafting supplies you need if not the cooking ones. Who knew so many people would start baking bread - and plenty of other stuff too! I couldn't get any syrup or treacle yesterday, but luckily I think a lot of people didn't realise that the molasses in the health food section was pretty much the same as the absent treacle in the baking section. About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week Sunday 12 through Saturday 18. Everyone is welcome to join in - check my next post for directions. Got a CAS card favorite? Look for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week thread in the Favorites Forum. Our dedicated team members are on the job delivering notifications and smiles this week includes Nancy (nwilliams6), Bev (guneauxdesigns), Kia (kiagc), Linda (bubblestx4), Janine (Jay_Bee), Angie (ohmypaper!) and me. I'm sorry - usually when I start the thread I try to find something from each day to share, but as I am still working, and shopping (when it has to be done) takes longer than usual and life is very different with DH working from home and in the house almost 24/7, I just have what I "hearted" whilst commenting on a couple of challenge galleries. Helpful hints and tips
EVERYONE is invited to join in!
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you.
Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
- That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site or prepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
- The card maker’s SCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
- It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.

No worries, Anne. We're all suffering from too many blank lines and the more you try to fix them, the worse they seem to get  . My reckoning is too many is better than none! |
