Hi, & Welcome to this week's Inspiration Challenge. This week we are headed to a board that is a collection of Holiday Ornaments that I had started at Pinterest When I first joined the Inspiration challenge team and never got around to using for an Inspiration challenge before today.
In my family the tradition is to start decorating for Christmas on the day after Thanksgiving. Being empty-Nester's for a few years now we've found that times are a-changing. This year hubs did his outdoor blue spruce tree the weekend before as we were predicted to get dumped on with snow this week (which we did) so, it's a good thing I was not watching him on his 26' extension ladder leaning to get the star on top on his tippy toes. ( this may be the last year that tree gets a star on top haha.)
The new normal for the Inspiration challenge will be using more and more social media sites as they are already hosting the photographs being used for Inspiration. (if written permission has not been granted by the person who has taken it) I hope you can see these, one interesting thing I have found is that ornaments I pinned from some stores have gone blank over the years. ( when the store sells out of something it evidently removes the pin when they remove it from their store) who knew?
Have fun with this, I am looking forward to see what sparks you all.

How to Play ~View the images at Pinterest. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping! Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery post in this thread. Thanks for Joining along with us! If you would like the chance to guest design with us, simply PM one of the IC hostesses with a site that has not been used before. If your site is selected we will send you a PM with all the details for your week as Guest Designer!
NEED HELP GETTING A LINK TO YOUR INSPIRATION PICTURE? Since so many are having trouble grabbing the link to just one picture, please try this:
If you are unable to grab the link of your chosen picture, (on some sites, you can't, it only gives a link to the whole collection), hover over the picture in the collection that you want to link to. On a windows machine, right click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture.

We have been empty nesters for MANY years, but when the kids were home we had multiple trees, and we put them up the day after Thanksgiving too. Now we don't even bother, since we celebrate at #1 son's house. We are guests after having Christmas here for 52 years!
