Scrappin' Challenge 2020Can you believe this is our 12th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?!
We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2019 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2020! Let's keep scrappin'. It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2020! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops... What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process!
Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. *In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us. You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends. Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2020 Scrapbook Challenge!
Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends! We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc20mar"

I am here! No goals for this month. Hopefully, though I can do something the last weekend of March. I am scheduled to go to a scrap retreat then. Hope I can drive by then.... everyday, I seem to be able to do more. Hands remain sore. And I can’t squeeze toothpaste or glue yet!! LOL
I’m in Lela. Put me down for 10 pages. I will have to check how many I did in Feb, plus does my journal count as they are pages too lol?
Happy day everyone

I’m back home and hoping to get a few pages done, I’ve made a start on our Disney trip from two years ago, I find it hard going but I’m enjoying myself.
I’ve made the cover and the first page!
Wow. I feel like I 'failed' miserably at my Feb goals. I had wanted to scrap special occasions for my nephew's first year book but only managed his first Halloween and printing his first Christmas photos. I feel like I blinked and Feb just happened when I was napping or something.
So I'm going to make a conservative goal this month and say I'd like to do 4 of Mr.1's book and 4 of Mr.7's book. So 8 pages total.
Happy March to all
I fell way short of my February goal and only got 6 done. One layout sat on my desk for over a week before I finally completed it. Gotta remember to just move on to a new layout when I'm stuck like that! For March, I am going to try for 10. We'll be on vacation the final week, so I will have to work hard during the beginning of the month. YTD I have completed 14 layouts.
I met my Feb goal of 10 and I'm setting a goal of 10 for March. I'm HOPING to exceed it because my son graduates May 21, which is completely freaking me out..... ;) I'd really like to make a huge dent getting his photo box scrapped! But today I'm cleaning the whole house because we've got lots going on this week. Happy March to you all!

2024 Scrapping Goals: March 8/12; Feb: 6/15; 2024: 35/125
Well I am excited!! Today is my 40th birthday so after sleeping in, I decided to spend the day scrapping!! Okay, I'm still a mom of a 3yr old plus teenagers, so that didn't totally happen, hahaha, but! I got 7 pages done! Four are double layouts and I still need the journaling, but the other three are just uploaded. I'm really happy about that! I haven't spend a day scrapping for YEARS. The ones I could upload today are all first days of school. Gotta get it done!! 8th Grade Grade 10 Junior

So I got 15 pages done in February. That brings my YTD to 34. I'm going to shoot for 30 pages in March, I have a lot of pages done that I just need to sit down and journal and make titles for. I tend to put that off, but once I talk myself into doing it I can usually crank it out pretty fast.
Happy Birthday Tanya. I have teenagers and toddlers too. I once saw a shirt that said, "I have teenagers and toddler, I fear nothing." I wish I'd bought it. I'm so happy you got to spend a day scrapbooking. What a great way to start the month.
Here’s a quick LO that I’ve just done following on from our trip. This was a day that we went to the outlets and then my sister and I left the men at home and went into town to see what we could find lol. I still have 2 dresses I bought from this trip that I’ve never worn...so bad.
I’ve not put this in my gallery but wanted you to see that I did some stamping on this one. The tag will go into the side pocket and I also used my TH ticket stamps. As you can see, I did some fussy cutting using some of the photos too.
I’m loving scrapping again.
I won’t have time to scrap for a few days but will start on the challenges next week.
Happy weekend

Hello scrappers. I often see lots of people looking at our "Scrapbook Sketches" thread and felt inspired to present a sketch challenge. I really love working from sketches, so any of you who would like, here is where I posted the challenge.
I can't 'fix' the spacing and the plethora of characters at the end! Perhaps if a Moderator comes along and can, that would be much appreciated. (Or PM me if I can do it)

For those who asked to see my journal pages, here’s the first half..most of them. I did it fairly simple for my first attempt with side tucks, belly bands and die cuts, all using up my stash.i used tea and coffee dyed papers, magazine pages (I have a blue Mazda lol), emphera, maps, smash book items, pretty much I thought would go with the theme of cogs, wheels, etc. the middle page is a bag from a local shop I cut up. There’s also a vintage envelope which I used as a pocket.

And here’s the back pages, again using die cuts and stuff out of my stash. One die cut opens up as you will see. I didn’t cut it straight nor some pages and my sewing is shonky but I’m ok with that lol. The bike die cut I just glue at the bottom to use as a tuck. The tissue paper has two folds and a large pocket.
TFL. I can’t wait to make a larger one and improve.

Jayne that’s amazing, I can’t believe you’ve finished it already and with all that detail.
I love maps and I can’t believe the one with the bike shows where we used to live in England, Mansfield, well just outside of town, do you have some connect or was it a coincidence , ha,ha, that was so funny. I love it all Jayne, well done
Nice work Jayne! Innovative and exciting. Will you write personal stories, journal, or what?
Thanks Joyce Ann. I hope to use it for this year and to write key events, stories that occur each month. I’m a little behind but not a lot has happened so far this year lol. I may also write quotes in it that I like.

Thanks Jan. The map was deliberate as it shows where I come from on it too, and I knew your home town was on there and also my sisters. I wanted it in there as we are supposed to be visiting again this year...fingers crossed. On my video I say and this is where Jan came from lol. Shame I couldn’t post it. It still needs ribbon on the tags and I even included a tag that we had been sent with a thank you gift. I so enjoyed making it.

I’ve been on a roll today, I’ve finished another two page spread and the next one just needs Everything sticking together. Apart from a few pages where I’ve used the Disney papers all the others are stash, all the die cuts are cut from stash too, I can’t say I can see a difference as I have so much but at least I have all the colours organised so I know where to look.
Joyce Ann I’m hoping to follow one of the sketch challenges ,I really like the first one so I’m hoping I can do it across two of my smaller pages.
Jayne that’s quite spooky that we live so far apart, met on here and yet both come from within a few miles of each other, it’s a small world. Mind you we didn’t grow up in that area but not a million miles away.
