Hi,
I have not been on in sometime and have not stamp in some time. I have the time once again. I always used Georgia-Pacific White Cardstock Paper, 8.5" x 11", 110 lb, 150 Sheets. I can't seem to find it anymore. Can someone tell me a good paper to use? Thank you so much.
I use the Georgia Pacific brand also but my Walmart no longer carries it in the store. But they have replaced it with the Pen And Gear brand by Walmart. Side by side they are comparable and the wrappers even resemble each other.
WM is switching over to a lot of in house brands. I do know they use major brands to make their products. I usually can find the name brand that makes WM's in house product. I didn't find anything from Georgia Pacific making paper products for WM Pen+Gear line.
I live in WM country and I also live in Georgia Pacific country. Lots of factories surrounding my area within a 200 mile radius. I am going to make a strong assumption that the Pen+Gear 110lb cardstock is Georgia Pacific's cardstock. Especially since GP has several factories in Arkansas.
If you have an old GP package you can look at the SKU or UPC to see if it's a match for Pen+Gear. My UPC on my unopened package is 36500 09360 if that helps any. I think my SKU is BC638K11031C.
I use this tip to figure out which spices, for an example, are McCormicks in Great Value line or which Vitamin's are Nature Bounty, etc.... for the Equate line.

I am using neenah for cards and michaels house brand for everything else like indexes, sampling (when it does not matter like glitter, Embossing powders, embossing folders etc), liners, etc.
Thank you for your help. I am going to look in-store and if they don't have it I will order it online for sure. I will also look at Michaels I have a coupon!
When I could not find it anymore I started using the Hobby Lobby Heavyweight and I like it so much better. They usually have it on sale for 50% off once or twice a month. I usually get 10 pkgs of Ivory and 10 of white when I do hit the sale.

I went to my Walmart yesterday and they did not have it. I ask and the girl in that department said they would not be carrying it anymore. I am going to look online for it. and hoptownracer1 you are so welcome. I did not realize this would be a good ? to ask. I am happy it's helping others.
Mary Polanco has a video on YouTube -- in which she compares Accent Opaque cardstock from Amazon with Neenah and Recollections. I haven't tried cardstock from Amazon either and would be interested in any other opinions as well.
I just purchased some of the Accent 120lb from amazon. I bought it primarily for card bases so haven't spent a lot of time comparing it side-by-side with my neenah. The feel is great and ink blends well (inked background). I haven't used it with my copic coloring so can't speak to whether or not it's a good fit for that.
Edited: compared it to the Neenah Solar white and MFT and it is a brighter white.
Thought I would insert a photo so you can see the difference between Neenah and Accent Opaque. The one to the right of where I’m pinching, which almost looks grayish here, is the accent. I asked my husband to look at the papers flat in front of us and he agrees with the video that the Accent is more white. But I’m some white it looks more gray...? Cool white vs warm white maybe?
