Scrappin' Challenge 2020 Can you believe this is our 12th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2019 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2020! Let's keep scrappin'.

It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages,goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2020! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...

What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!

Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.

*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.

You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!

The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.

Hey Scrappy Sisters, how are you? I'm home for (2) days so lots to get done in a short time. Planning to still do some scrappin' while I have the chance.

This next time out, I should have some scrap time so I'm taking some goodies with me. Hope to play along with LOAD February :eek:

Wow! How is it February already??

This month my scrapping goal is to finish off the special events/holiday pages in my nephew's first year book. I'm not sure how many pages that will entail yet so I'm just going to leave it at the special holidays - first Halloween, Christmas, Easter and some of the 'firsts' (first foods in particular because the pics are adorable lol)

It's been really nice to come here and read & chat with everyone - thanks for making me feel welcome!

Well, my very small January goal was a fail, because I had a VERY large custom craft order. So, in order to support my scrap habit...I took the job😁.
So, I need to set my February Goal. I'm headed to a crop mid-month and I always do more at a crop. So, I'm going to say 50 pages.

Wow! 50 pages! I am still out os commission! To at least Feb. 19th! That is next time I go to the doctor. Hopefully, I will get these splints off and start pT. Still typing with a finger and it gets sore. I can take a shower and wash my hair, but can’t style it. I can put on pants but need DH go put on my tops. I will say no Feb goals. Not. Scrapping till March.

I fell short of my goal but what is new.

Going to a crop later in the month.
I may drop off the face of the earth before long as we will move in February and not have internet for a time.

In case anyone wants to fix the errors after typing their comment, go to Advanced, click on the A with the underscore at the top right hand side Then post. Hope this helps.

I hit my Jan goal, which wasn't pages, but getting this organized. So yay me!

For Feb, I'm hoping to get 10 pages done.

I missed my January goal but I'm going to blame it on getting the flu. I didn't scrap for over a week, and that would have been when I completed the other two layouts I need to reach ten for the month! Anyone get that logic? Anyway, I'm at 8 YTD and, even though I would love to do LOAD along with Lela, I've gotta be realistic. Setting my goal at 20, which allows for some days I just don't scrap.

Sharon (Sewflake) and Cheryl, I went to a scrapbook site I joined years ago for inspiration last night and hadn’t been on for years. My account details still worked...and what did I find, but you both on there. Small world. I shall look for inspiration again today as I’m itching to start.

Hello February! I'm holding a card class this weekend, but I'm still shooting to get 10 pages done this month. And I got 7 of my 10 January pages done. We got pretty sick too, but it was just a terrible cold. blah...
- I did print 23 digi pages for my son this weekend- all done between 2012-2018, LOL. I don't print pages very often, so sometimes I don't know why I make them, haha.
- Today I added sheet protectors to two albums, and put two other albums together in order, even tho there are major gaps, haha. What is done is now in order.
- And my huge photo order arrived on Saturday. 255 is a LOT of photos. "Only" 42 events there. Hopefully all that keeps me motivated, and then hopefully I can find time to play!

Hi everybody,
I saw this challenge in the newsletter. I am SO excited to find this group and would like to join the challenge, please.
My goal this year was to just get started again, so I am thrilled to find the group and put my money where my mouth is, so to speak.
I am not quite sure what goal to set so I will try 10 pages this month and then re look at my goal for March. I will try and use up supplies I already have.

Hi ladies,

My trip to London was a success!  I had a wonderful time.

I exceeded my scrapbook goal, by 4 so I had 19 layouts for Jan.  

My Feb goal will be 30 layouts. 

 I'm never sure in this challenge when to post my layouts.  I batch scrapbook so I am usually doing my journalling at the end of the month; then do I post my Jan layouts in Feb or do I only post my completed Feb layouts in Feb.  Since I rarely finish a full layout before the end of the month I never post as I go.  Are there hard and fast rules about this?

I didn’t finish a LO as the day got away from me yesterday but today...well we have a whole day free..well half a day now lol. Whoohoo.

Hello everyone! So excited to see some new peeps joining us. Welcome to All! I got zero done in January and am only making February goal at 5 and that’s hoping I can get my creative space back in its entirety. This unplanned septic construction and tornado sure has taken a toll on my play time! We did end up getting a new roof after the storm on our house and they finished today, so we are looking up! Just messy and expensive, but just stuff. We are taking a trip to FL this month and I can’t think of a time when we have needed a vacation more than right now and it actually happening. So that is all good stuff, too.

Yay I’ve finished my first LO. Gosh these smaller albums take just as long as a 12x12. Ive been going most of this arvo lol.This is for Cheryl’s stashbuster challenge and I also used the sketch on the blog. I haven’t posted this in my gallery for a few reasons. This photo of my hubby was taken when we were fortunate to visit The House of Commons and were also invited to drinks and dinner in The House of Lords...what a treat. You aren’t allowed to take photos at dinner but of course I had already taken these before I was politely asked not to take more lol. Doh..it was such a beautiful room and I wanted to capture the whole evening. We felt very privileged to have been able to do this and still chat about it.This page is for my 2017 6x8 travel album which I’ve been taking some time to complete :rolleyes:Apart from the dies that I bought last year, everything else used on this page has been in my stash for a very long time. I don’t even know when I purchased the papers. One paper was a freebie out of a magazine and I haven’t subscribed to magazines for 8 years :lolo:I added the wrapper from the chocolate at the top to prove we were there :lolo: The twine on the tag is so old and I didn’t even know I had it until I recently decluttered and cleaned my room. It reminds me of liquorice lace I used to eat as a child :lolo: It’s very sticky and I have no idea where it came from. If someone sent it to me, thank you. I love it.

I added a pocket at the bottom to add the smaller photos and tag with my journalling.

I’m so happy to be back scrapping. My OLW is less, however as you can see I haven’t transferred that over to my scrapping yet :rolleyes:TFL. Happy day

Jayne, good to see your layout posted here, even if you can't post it in the gallery because of the illegal photos - LOL! Great use of stash stuff. Don't you love the feeling of using some stuff up? Feel free to play along again with permitted photos.

Thanks Cheryl...it is good to use up stash. I can’t wait for the rest of February challenges but I will press on with my album..lots to do. I now wish I had done bigger pages.

My hubby said why would you scrap me with food? I told him because that’s the only photos I got before I was told off and I like to see what we ate. The thumbnail doesn’t show it up well but you get the idea..lol

I got a page done. I didn't read the Stashbusters challenge yet, but I'm sure I didn't use enough products for it to count. However, everything is SUPER old, haha. The stamp set came out in 2014, I don't know when the paper came out but I have hoarded it because I reeeally love it, haha. And the pictures came from 2008. ;) Hoping to check the gallery tomorrow!

Wow Patti, that’s impressive. I started one LO but didn’t finish it. It takes me forever to work out what I’m going to do, sort photos and choose papers lol.
