Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: snietje/Anita
CHALLENGE: I was thinking that traveling in an RV must be great fun, but space is so limited. For this week's challenge, imagine you're traveling in an RV and make a card for Dorothy using limited supplies and chose only 3, of course the card base paper doesn't count. But the most important is you enjoy making your card so if you use stamp(S) or die-cut(S) in plural, this wouldn't mind. Here are some examples:
Watercolor + stamp or die cut + embellishment
Fun fold + pretty paper + stamp or die cut
Tutorial using only 3 ingredients
Extra cookies if you include a RV or/and French words because Dorothy used to be a French teacher.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of you; Hello; Friend; Sending Cheer
This week's Guest of Honor is SCS etsdas/Dorothy Schultz and was suggested by SCS Cook22 (Sabrina)
Dorothy has had some health issues that slowed her SCS activity down a bit. Dorothy also tends to her husband who has Parkinson's. Until her husband's health started to deteriorate they had a RV and used to travel from Arizona to Colorado frequently.
SEND CARDS TO: Dorothy Schultz 206 W Auburn Sky Ct. Casa Grande, AZ 85122 USA
Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT602 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
I will make a card using my Diamond Press stamp and die set of campers, and outside scenery. (Still have no clue on how to post). I've used this stamp and die set many times, and one of the phrases to the stamp set is "let the adventure begin".

Can we help you to post your cards in the gallery? I know Sabrina is very good at explaining this with screen shots
I have a question about our tech problems: if Anita wasn't able to put a gallery link and her card link into the challenge, how was she able to put it in a post right below?

I couldn't edit the challenge to add the links without spooky writing... But I can link in a post
OK..I have to confess - I checked the thread this morning ... what a great surprise! Thank you Sabrina, Anita, and everyone.
This is so timely. I will update a bit. Following surgery for endometrial cancer, my oncologist said all looked clear but she would keep an eye on everything. A couple of scans later she found a tumor on the lymph gland. Bottom line is I begin radiation and chemo in a few days. I have very little direct knowledge of these treatments - just little contact with any one who has had similar experiences. But I know I will welcome this happy mail - and I will definitely share with Erling, who has been so supportive of my card making. He is pretty much confined to his recliner except for weekly church attendance.
I should add I do not really feel ill - just lacking in time and energy! Not sure how that will be after treatment...
We'll be thinking of you and your DH, I hope your mailbox will get plenty of cards, a bit of support is welcome I think!! I'm sure if our dear Teapotters read your message and if someone already had experience with this treatment they will pm you.
Just curious about something....i went to Dorothy's gallery, to see what she likes to do, and about 4 of our cards for this challenge are in her personal gallery. Polly, Susie and a couple of others. I didn't open them to see why.

Have you got a link, Jean? The most recent upload I see from Dorothy is for Cheryl's tea-party last August. It's always been that people can upload cards they received (generally into albums, so that it's obvious they were received). But I don't see that either.

Jean, I think I know what you did. It looks as if you didn't actually go to Dorothy's Member Gallery, you typed etsdas into the search box? That brings up any of the cards where people mentioned her username in the write-up. The search function, unless you use the Advanced option in very specific details, is quite general. Like sometimes I'm trying to find one of my Peanuts cards but searching for Peanuts in my gallery also brings up any card where I write "I was going to use one of my Peanuts stamps but I didn't..." I need to narrow it down to searching for Peanuts as a keyword to only get cards which actually feature them.
There are two or three easy ways of going to a member gallery.
One: right click or long press on their username beside a post, and several options come up including their gallery.
Two: go to your gallery, and so long as the card isn't in a Technique gallery, above the cards you will see Member Galleries>>jkanack. Click on Member Galleries, and then you can type the name you are looking for into the box near the top right.
If you go to the gallery home page, there's a category called Member Galleries which brings you to the same list and search box as the method just above.
And many people have a link to their gallery in their signature. I don't because were meant to have no more than 5 lines and my quota is used up.
Here is my Hello card for Dorothy. Off it goes in the mail tomorrow!

Thank you Mac, for the cute card. We miss the camping...or as you said, glamping! I look forward to seeing your cards in the gallery - I hope you are able to post soon.
I am nearly late to this teaparty, but I simply had to play. I feel so bad for for Dorothy going through treatment now when her husband is needing help too. Dorothy, feel free to pm me anytime as I am going through chemo myself. Like you said, very low energy, but we can compare energy levels if you want to. Here is my card: MMTPT602, ABC12V18 Heartfelt Prayers by Art Deco Diva at Splitcoaststampers. ~Karen.
Here's mine that was started last week. I did not get the instructions right, but I had fun. I was determined to finish so I could send a card to a fellow Arizona dweller.
