Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT600 Teapotter Hugs for DonnaJeanne
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun! This week's challenge hostess is: susie australia/Susie Williams CHALLENGE: As a Teapotter of 9 years, DonnaJeanne has sent many smiles and paper hugs, now it's our turn to bring smiles and paper hugs to DonnaJeanne and let her know we are here for her. Your challenge dear Teapotters is to use gingham or checks on your card...a little or a lot, paper or ribbon or maybe stamping, it's up to you.

Thanks, Susie, for hosting this TeaParty for Donna. I've been blessed by her kind and generous spirit over the years. Must take some time to ponder, but I'll be back.

Gosh, I sure hate reading that Donna Jeanne lost her husband so close to Christmas. What a difficult time to lost a spouse. I am really humbled knowing Donna Jeanne sent me a beautiful card for my Tea party that was Christmas week when she had just lost her husband. I will always remember that she did this! Thank you Susie for hosting this tea party for our dear Donna Jeanne. I have not made a card in almost 3 months, but I am determined to make a card now. ~Karen
I had trouble linking my card in the comment boxes yesterday, which is why they're not there. Maybe there is a glitch. Susie, I'm so glad you did this. I knew about her husband's death and didn't get a card in the mail. Perfect challenge!

Here's mine - short on time so no purple as I used an image I had coloured last week - but I did use gingham. And persevered with that awful metallic thread, which broke three times.
I want to thank all of you gracious ladies for my Teaparty, is so nice of Miss Susie to host and everyone of my online friends sending cards---will be loved I assure you. Was not a good time for me but have had most of my kids here since before Christmas and this helped fill the void. Both boys have gone to Missouri and Indiana. My one son was to get married on Dec. 11 but that is when husband passed so he chose day after Christmas and unknown to us my other son had planned to get married in DEC, but did not want to take away from his brother so they got married Jan. 19, so all my kids are now married but took long time for the boys as went with their wives for so many years LOL I referred to them as their wife. Thank all of you again for my Teaparty and if you were in New Middletown, Oh I would have goodies to go with tea/coffee---Hugs and Love, DonnaJeanne
I finally have a card...could never get happy with anything I made today until now. Then, when I was happy, I had a problem my photo editing software and also couldn't type a thing. Finally, just got that fixed and almost 7:00 p.m. and now I have to go out. So, guess I'll download it tomorrow.

Wow, all of you in the Teapotter family just keep making my day with the thinking of you and birthday cards. When getting mail today my mailman said Boy, someone really likes sending you cards, thank goodness I am strong to carry all of them---LOL--great friends you have and I said indeed. Okay ladies here's the PICKLE---LOL----I got a Birthday card and was looking for the person to thank ----- am looking for a Bonnie Good. Thought from BRAK but in checking no name and bensarmom contacted me say not find her either and I thought from our Teapotter group as noticed on the address had New Middeton and that is what was on the Teapotter address for my tea party----but is New Middletown but still got as all else was right------so if anyone knows Bonnie Good please let me know, is from Oregon--thanks, and still going thru the cards and sending online thanks to all---Hugs Donna
Oh you ladies are so sweet, got my card today from jkanack aka Jean and she made me queen for the day with a majestic purple queens chair for me the royal queen for my day---is beautiful---thank you so very much, Hugs DonnaJeanne
Then there is Snietje---Anita from across the oceans and she made me a purple card with Kitty in cup trying to steal my tea, beautiful card and pretty flowers at top and netting under my tea cup kitty and a batch of sentiment goodies on velum---thank you so very much---Hugs, DonnaJeanne
the next Birthday card is from Linda---aka holstein---and she was not in the birthday Brak not unless missed her name in Teapotters but her card is beautiful--big butterfly and flowers and my goodness is like Christmas as out came her card, and so very many die cuts of all kinds and stamped images to color and use on cards--made my day--Hugs, DonnaJeanne
