Hi, & Welcome to this week's Inspiration Challenge. This week we are headed to Google Images with the search word of tote bags.
Where I live in Oregon we now have a law that stores can no longer give you a plastic bag to haul anything home from the store in except (meat and something else that I forgot) so, it doesn't matter which kind of a store you go to, you have to haul your own bags inside. We knew this was coming and have been flirting with collecting tote bags for a long time at my house, the hardest part was the remembering to take them into the store with you.
If you do happen to do the tourist thing and do not have a bag, they will sell you one but, one thing I have found over the last few years is the bags made from recycled plastic bottles with the cool art on them, the handles are also plastic so, they break from weight at grocery stores and I am currently collecting cool canvas type fabric bags.
One thing that I have noticed about Google images is that sometimes I cannot get it to show me the same image twice so, I have started a Pinterest Board seen here to get you started on your Inspiration hunting.
Have fun with this, I am looking forward to see what sparks you all.
Use the keyword: IC737(no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words. Include your inspiration image in the description of your project being sure to only include links from Oprah Magazine
Use the Keyword IC737 Here is a link to the IC737 Gallery
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, I've gathered some of my favorite photos to the SplitcoastStampers IC pinterest board.
So just stick with one of those for your inspiration.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping! Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery post in this thread. Thanks for Joining along with us! If you would like the chance to guest design with us, simply PM one of the IC hostesses with a site that has not been used before. If your site is selected we will send you a PM with all the details for your week as Guest Designer!
NEED HELP GETTING A LINK TO YOUR INSPIRATION PICTURE? Since so many are having trouble grabbing the link to just one picture, please try this:
If you are unable to grab the link of your chosen picture, (on some sites, you can't, it only gives a link to the whole collection), hover over the picture in the collection that you want to link to. On a windows machine, right click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture.
Stacy this is a great website, I love looking at totes! I chose this tote because it looks like the DP I have.

Who knew there were so many tote bag designs out there!! I could easily make a few more as I was inspired by many of them! Here's the one I made today:
Terrific idea Stacy! We frequently go to California and stores are now selling plastic bags or you can bring your own. Thanks for reminding me to pack tote bags for our next trip!
I used the cute dog on the books as my inspiration forthis cardfor my sister who is having surgery today.
Here is the tote in our regular supermarket that calls to me - something I have enjoyed since my diabetes diagnosis (says Bacon & Eggs if you cannot see photo - not sure what is going on today!)

Here is a mini album and a separate card made to match my mini-album. Both projects inspired by the Pinterest pin for Tote Bag. Thanks for the fun challenge.
