Default Laserjet colored printers

Can any one suggest a good colored LaserJet printer for printing out digital images?

I just got one for Christmas. Haven't used it long enough to know whether I would recommend it, but I chose it from a recommendation from a friend on an earlier model of the same thing. So far, what little I've used it (no color as yet) I like it. It's a bit slow to "think" but then spits the copy out very quickly. It is an HP Color Laser Jet Pro, MFP M281fdw.

Thanks Sharon! I'm off to do some research on this model. Keep me posted when you start using the color. :-)

I have this HP Laser printer and I like it. You need to be aware of 3 things, it will go into Sleep mode after a few minutes inactivity but a tap on the screen wakes it up, so if you are fluffing around for a while and then press Print but nothing happens check the screen .If its black its got bored waiting. 2nd thing is only use true HP relacement toners, here in NZ we can get refills and compatibles but they will not work. I think it is some cunning sensor that scans their code, if it isn't there the printer throws a sulk. 3rd thing is to make use of the Paper Menu, you have a heap of options for various weights of paper ,it is not keen on the heavy stuff like 300gsm, I think it lists 200gsm as the heaviest . The colours come out really well. I sometimes stamp images onto copy paper then copy that on to heavier weight paper and then foil the images through my laminator. I also have an HP Deskjet printer so that brand works for me

Just a note for Neenah fans, Neenah Classic Crest 110# is 297 gsm and 80# is 216.

After a lot of research, I purchased an Okidata MC363. My requirements were a pass through paper path (so papers don’t curl) and the bypass tray rated to handle at least 80# cardstock. It works beautifully for doing print n cuts with my Silhouette and for foiling projects with my Minc. I didn’t really want a scanner or copier but it does come in handy. Huge downside is that the toner is expensive. Do not use generic toner... trust me it doesn’t work. I ended up buying a new machine because it was too expensive to fix.
