Challenge Title: Old New stuff Hostess: KelliJo Keyword: CAS566 Date: Week of December 30th, 2019
My challenge this week is to welcome in the New Year and dust off our OLD "new stuff" that we just HAD to have and have yet to buck up and use it. For ME it is the Arteza watercolor markers. I had a full set of the Zig pens and just wasn't feeling them, so I gave them to Jeanne S at a retreat of Lydias. WELL.... I saw some people using them again, then saw Arteza's set and decided to rebuy them LOL SO.... here I am FINALLY using them. I stuck with the scribble squirt dip method. #bravegirl
SO, For the New Year use your Old New stuff as New New stuff!
Here's the team samples and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!! May 2020 be GREAT!!!!
1. There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenge. 2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card. 3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project. 4. Please remember to use the correct keyword CAS565 when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. 5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenge with any other challenges.
The challenges are to provide inspiration and to get us stamping, so have fun and follow your heART. We cannot wait to see what you create!
I loved this challenge because I splurged and bought a lot of things with all the after Christmas sales! Huge discounts and hubby had given me money for Christmas! Such fun and now I get to use my bargains! Great challenge KelliJo!
Great challenge, Kelli. Do this one again! I had many choices and I could have gone back even further, but when I saw Rainy's FS card for inspiration, I doubled up on challenges. FS673 CAS566 Handyman Valentine
Thanks for the great challenge, KelliJo! I don't think I have any full stamp sets that I have never used, but I tend to use only 1 or 2 stamps in a set, so I have a ton of images that have never been touched! This challenge really inspired me to look at the smaller stamps and use them in a different way. :p
Starting out 2020 with a card! I haven’t made cards in months and am trying to use stuff I have just found after cleaning up my craft room. Also, I just love red and black, especially with polka dots.
Thanks for this challenge, KelliJo. We should have this challenge once a week, maybe then some of my beautiful stamps and dies that I had to have would get used lol. Here is my Buffalo Plaid Thanks card.
I HAD to have the Mama Elephant Little Penguin Agenda when it came out! When I came across the empty snow globe stamp from Brutus Monroe during Cyber Sales week, I knew what I wanted to do. Just hadn't had a chance yet -- thank you for this opportunity. This is my first try -- next time I'll do a few things differently. CAS566 You are So Cool by IndigosMom - at Splitcoaststampers Thanks for looking! JJ
