I'm kinda stuck on item #8 of the Scrapbook List Inspiration since I didn't print out any of my Christmas photos in 5x7 or larger format, so while I'm pondering what to do about that, I revisited items 2-4 on the list for this layout.
Merry Xmas eve...enjoy today and the next week...I’m ready. Yay..Santa is on his way lol

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! In between celebrating with family, I managed to finish up a layout with a 5x7 photo on it for #8 of the Scrapbook List Inspiration challenge. It's for design team work so I can't post it here until Monday, but I'm calling that requirement done and moving on to #9 - woohoo!

Since this is just for fun, put 2 photos "together" (side-by-side), add a larger photo background OR better yet, just ask the host to update the list to include *one photo other than 4x6 ;)
Thanks for playing

Hello to my Scrappy Sisters .... how are you? I've actually got the next 3 days to spend in my Scrap Space ... Merry Christmas to me. I was sad when all of the family left this morning but realized I was just needed to consider it a "staycation". It was time for everyone to go back to work. I'm only on day 7 of my DD so I need to get that finished. I'm not one of those that can finish later. It's a "December Album" for a reason. Usually I'm farther into it by this point but we've had so many FUN things going ...
I did order ALL of my Christmas photos already since W's was having a $0.09 sale ... I pick them up tomorrow I'm planning to mix in some "traditional" scrapping as well
Hope all of you had a wonderful holiday with family and friends

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas - I sure did. Lots of grandkid time and I ate way too much - gained 3 lbs (closer to 4 but I round down on lbs).
I did meet my goal for December and may do a few more pages before the end of the year as hubby is going to do a gun show up North of here and I may go find some historical markers around there.
Hope you all get some good crafting time before the end of the year. Many hugz and Happy New Year too.

Dec finished 6, but missed goals
YTD 160. (posting this early)
I am unfortunately going to have to end my year short of goal. We have had an unexpected plumbing problem that is going to require major renovation. As in pipe replacement due to deterioration of the clay pipe under my 47 year old house that leads all the way through the center of my finished basement. Unfortunately part of this is going to include digging up some of my craft room for new pipe under the house (sniff). I have grabbed what I could and sealing off the rest from as much construction dust as we can. Hope to have it done in two weeks. Then can start the cleaning process to get back to normal. Good thing is they can start Monday AND we still have a working shower and toilet in different area so we can stay home!!! I’m just having to do dishes in the bathroom sink on the other end of the house. But my ingenious husband, Gary figured out how to rig the washer and run the water out the garage door. So I can avoid the laundromat at least at this stage. We are a sight to behold here ladies!! Say a prayer of thanksgiving for all working drains!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Lea... I really do love this month’s challenge. Would you consider running it again another month? Not sure what anyone else thinks, but I feel since it’s been so busy for everyone it hasn’t gotten its usual and proper due participation. Just a thought....
Hi everyone and loving reading what some of you have been up to over the Xmas period. We had the kids and poppets here for dinner on Xmas day and since then it’s been quiet.
We have been shopping for a new couch...nothing bought yet...and just chilling. I’m reading again and enjoying. We stopped decluttering just before Xmas and still have 1.5 rooms to finish..the 1 being my craft room. I can hardly open the door but will find a way to get in so I can make a card for this weeks Teapot challenge as Karen is a dear friend I have made through this site.
I also wanted to update you on our dear friend , Sharon in case you haven’t heard. She fell over the holidays and has broken both wrists and may have to have surgery. I learnt this through a friend who posted on the alpha challenge as she keeps in touch with Sharon. I hope that Sharon isn’t in too much pain and heals quickly. What a thing to happen to our friend. I think that she would like you to be updated in case you wonder where she is.
I like your idea Amy. I couldn’t participate again due to keeping focused on our decluttering but I’m hoping within the next 2 weeks my craft room will be ready for action..whoohoo.
Happy Saturday everyone and no more illness or injuries. Hugs

Happy Saturday Everyone! "Christmas is down" and I'm in my Scrap Room for the rest of the day .... :o
Unfortunately, As Jayne mentioned, I just wanted to let everyone know that our dear friend Sharon (SMadson) was out for a walk and fell over the holidays and broke both her wrists. They are waiting for the swelling to go down to put on the casts. I think somewhere I have her address if you would like to send her a "Get Well Quickly" Card as it may be sometime before she's back chatting

I think that's a GRAND Idea! I'll add 6 more "Inspiration Ideas" for "31 Days" and we can play along in January. It would be a good idea for January as (2) of our Challenge Hostesses are "out for this month" ...
Thank you so much Amy for posting this idea

I also love the idea of continuing the list challenge! I'd love to put more attention there.
Amy, I had two friends have that same problem happen right before Thanksgiving! UGH!! I am so sorry! But I'm glad you still have some plumbing available in the meantime!
Sharon, if you read this, I am so sorry- what a hard thing to deal with!!
I'm glad some of you had good holidays! Ours was good and super busy. I don't think I'll get to scrap any more at all, til after the kids are back in school, but the calendars were a big hit. Even my picky little sister made a point to compliment the work and say that she appreciated it. ;) I feel like that's a huge success.
See you all in the new year!

It's been a long time since I scrapped, so it's taking me a while to get in the groove. Two days so far to work out a double page spread. But finally I'm ready to fasten things together. Hopefully have a picture to post in a few days. We are going away tomorrow to have a post Christmas lunch with our family in a town about two hours away from here. My oldest son and family were not able to come to the earlier family gathering. Our holiday celebration spreads out over about three weeks this year. I've been busy today moving scrap stuff into craft room and miniatures stuff down to the basement except for a few ongoing projects.
Sending best wishes to you ladies dealing with tough situations right now.

Wow, two days to do a double page spreads sounds about par for the course for me. Guess I'm a slow scrapper - LOL! Glad you're trying to get back into it, and looking forward to seeing your pages once they're done.
Wow, so very sorry to hear of your fall Sharon. I hope you recover quickly with no complications!!
Tanya, it always makes one feel good when a gift is well received!! Then when you put as much work into them as all hand crafted items are, it's even more gratifying everyone loves them.
Amy, what a disaster with the water pipes!! Sounds like a lot of repair cleanup and redecorating!!! Hope the loss is minimal and repairs done quickly!!
Pat, waving here, welcome to some new faces...
Vannie, I don't often do two page layouts as they take forever!!! LOL
I had this last one made up into a kit with all supplies in the bag along with paper and photo. It still took me all day long to complete and that was with using a sketch as a guide!!!
I posted a few layouts in the gallery this morning. I've been working my way through the Scrapbook List Inspiration challenge items, but wanted to post sequentially and had to wait until today to post the first one since it was for a design team reveal. So here goes:
Happy New Year to you all and your families. I wish you a healthy year full of self care, creating and full of joy.
Sharon, I hope that you are going ok. Miss your chats on here and other threads.
Take care everyone. Hugs
