TLC775 ~ Faux Stitching ~ {12/30/2019}
Hello and welcome!
I am so happy to be hosting the last TLC for this year and the end of the decade. Such wonderful challenges here to be inspired by!
It has been such a hectic time of year for everyone, so I've decided to offer a very simple but fun challenge to you today.
My challenge is to add some
Faux Stitching
Using a piercing tool or a large sewing needle, pierce dots around the border of our card or even around a stamped image. Using a marker, join up the dots to make it look like it has been stitched. I think it adds great interest to a card or an image.
So grab a coffee or tea, your card and add some faux stitching.
I hope you will come and play along with us.
Looking forward to seeing what you will create!
Be sure to add the keyword TLC775 to your card so it can be added to the gallery.
The TLC775 gallery can be found
HERE .
This is my card:

I always like the look that piercing adds - but usually am too lazy to bother. Thanks, Karen.

TLC775 Treat Bag Thank You
Thanks, Karen. I should use this technique more often. This one was an experiment that worked with a little drying time.

Great challenge, Karen! I love faux stitching! I opted to forgo the “threads” on this one though and just left it as “needle holes.” 😁
