Hi, Janine here starting this week's Favorites Thread. I am still busy catching up with various sections of the family for "Christmas" get togethers, possibly like many of you!
2020 is just around the corner so I expect lots of you are making plans and resolutions. I hope one of those is to prepare a Best of 2019 list ready for next weekend. All of us enjoy that extra recognition.
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week, Sunday, 22nd December through Saturday, 28th December. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.
Got a CAS card favorite? Look for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week thread in the Favorites Forum.
Our dedicated team members are on the job delivering notifications and smiles:
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you. Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site orprepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
The card maker’sSCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU listed in your favorites for this week. Thanks, Janine, for getting our thread started this week. Due to Christmas and associated commitments, I have been absent from both my craft room and the gallery this week. I did finally get a chance to play on Saturday and managed to find some lovely cards that had been posted to the gallery over the holiday week.
Here are the cards that caught my eye and tickled my fancy this week:
I am in the midst of a craft room transition/makeover most of this week and have had little time in the galleries.
Thanks A bunch to Shirl for including my card set in your favs and to Amy for the happy mail! very much appreciated.
Thanks Janine for starting the thread, and reminder that the Best of 2019 is approaching soon. Thanks to all the notifiers for your time delivering happy mail.
Wishing everyone a joyful 2020 with abundant blessings!!
Love you all! ❤️
Jeannie

And a reminder, Favorites ~ Best of 2019 is next weekend! We'll be starting early. Look for the post in the Favorites Forum next Saturday, January 4th, 2020, around 3:00 pm EST. Get your lists ready and share some love
The gallery mods get a Christmas holiday, so combined with a family situation I haven't seen the gallery as much as usual, but managed to find a couple to share this morning:

Thank you, Carla for the notifications.
Aww, Miss Boo you truly make my day each time you favorite one of my cards. It never fails that it's a day when I feel discouraged and then I get a notification that someone chose my card as a favorite and then it makes it all better. Thank you so very much for being one of my biggest fans!!
Many thanks, rokale, Amy, Jen, Janine, Lisa, and Nancy, for including cards on mine on your lists. I am most appreciative. Thank YOU, Bev, for giving of your time to send me the notifications. May you all have a happy, healthy New Year. Hugs, Sallie
