Happy Thursday and welcome to this week's Ways to Use It challenge. Carla, here as your hostess.
I love vellum. It's frosty, translucent nature can be a rich elegance or a delicate sheer touch. It lets the light shine through in luminaries, is gorgeous heat or dry embossed and can be colored on the back side for a frost look or used as an overly on pattern paper. I entered Vellum in the Splitcoast Tutorials search and found 19 results.
When you've finished your creation, upload your card with the keyword WT771 and then come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card. It's especially appreciated by the hostesses!!
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Here's the link for our WT771 gallery. Take a look and spread some love around by leaving comments for your fellow crafters!
Thank you, Lisa, Sabrina, Cathy and Toni for the fabulous samples!
I absolutely loved this Ways to Use and found it very hard to decide what to do. With more time I might even have tried some basic Pergamano, and I know I have some SU preprinted vellum somewhere too. But definitely one of my favourite things is to make butterflies. Here's a close-up.
Carla- great challenge, thank you! My dear stamping friends provided the embossed sentiment and image. I did a swipe or 2 of my inkpads to provide a night sky. Here's Christmas Blessings

New technique for me today, too. Vellum always seems so romantic to me, so that's where my Muse led me. Thank you, Carla dear. WT771 Pergamano Snowflake
I'm getting lots of ideas for vellum from your beautiful cards. So far we have a few Stained Glass, vellum overlays, vellum quotes, dry embossed vellum, embossed and beautifully inked and Pergamano!

Hello, here is another card in my Tea Bag paper series : )
I am adding this to the WT771 Vision in Vellum challenge BECAUSE when you completely Tombow Mono tape the Tea Bag paper completely down, it has many of the same properties of vellum. The tea bag paper is see through, at that point, and adds a softness / diffusing of the BG paper.
Since this challenge is several months old I thought it would be ok, to join in, with a different paper that give much the same effect. : ) hope you indulge my thoughts on that ! ??
