Hi, Carla here starting this week's Favorites Thread. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at my house. I've been madly decorating, finishing Christmas cards, double-checking gift lists and listening to beloved Christmas carols. But the most important things I've done this week are spending time with family and friends. Wishing you the joy found with those you love.
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week, Sunday, December 1st through Saturday, December 7th. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.
Got a CAS card favorite? Look for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week thread in the Favorites Forum.
Our dedicated team members are on the job delivering notifications and smiles: Kia (kiagc), Linda (bubblestx4), Sabrina (Cook22), Nancy (nwilliams6), Carla (Covington Crafter), Angie (ohmypaper!)
Tips and Guidelines for posting Favorites and Thanks
EVERYONE is invited to join in!
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you. Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site orprepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
The card maker’sSCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU listed in your favorites for this week.

As always - thank you to everyone who takes time to share one or a few or more of what caught their eye in the gallery this last week - and to the notifying team who give the gift of their time each week.
A busy week here so far less creating of cards. Decorating the tree and re-doing the lights after the decorations was quite a challenge (yes some lights failed after trimming the tree!). I did however find some moments for gallery browsing and here is my list for this week. Thanks to all involved.
Thank you Carla for starting the favorites thread this week. Thank you to the terrific favorites team for sending the happy mail to the wonderful card designers on this tread. We really appreciate you volunteering your time to notify.
Thank you Anne for adding my card to your favorites. I really appreciate being on your incredible list of favorites.
Kia, thanks so much for the happy mail this morning! What a treat! To Mary and Janine, you sure made me smile by adding my card "Thief" to the favorites!!! MWAAH!
