WT769 ~ Pan Pastels or Other Chalk/Pastel Media ~ 12/5/19
Lisa here your hostess for this weeks Ways to Use It challenge.
While going through my craft room of supplies I always see my chalks and my pan pastels and want to drag them out and play but inevitably I am always in a hurry to make a different card. Today we are going to pull out either chalks, pan pastels or any pastel media. Show me how you use them on your cards. I can't wait to see what you create.
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
We have a fantastic card this week from the very creative team. Please see Carla's and Sabrina's beautiful cards.
I remember loads of people using eye-shadow when I first started, with spray fixative or hairspray to set it. I don't wear any - so at some stage I bought some of the Pebbles chalk pastels.
Here's the other panel from my Pastel Stencil Press.
If you don't have Pan Pastels or Other Chalk/Pastel Media, please don't feel like you can play. I want to inspire creativity. You could simply do a card that uses pastel colors. I am not the challenge police, I love to have as many play as possible.
I love my Stampin Pastels. I didn't do any of the fancy techniques because I'm getting a bunch of cards out for a card exchange. I will try some of the techniques later. Betty's Tannenbaum by Vannie - at Splitcoaststampers
