This week's theme is Snowflakes! I have a dessert option as it's called here at Splitcoast. It's not a technique challenge, it's just my own little invention and extra fun if you'd like! So if you're adventurous....I invented my very own new technique to make a cool background for snow! I call it the Paink Technique!!! Paint + Ink basically! lol Well I think it's cool! LOL And it's a very CAS background which I wanted to keep my card CAS but with a twist!
Here's a photo with the simple steps:
Now of course there is never any pressure to go buy supplies or stress out over ANY challenge! Just use the theme of Snowflakes for this week's CAS and you'll be terrific!! However...it's fun to push a little and create something new....and I can't wait to see the different styles and/or colors that might pop in the gallery!
1. There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenge. 2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card. 3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project. 4. Please remember to use the correct keyword CAS550 when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. 5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenge with any other challenges.
The challenges are to provide inspiration and to get us stamping, so have fun and follow your heART. We cannot wait to see what you create!
I made this snowflake card with an old SU! favorite. I made 6 cards and used them for a hostess gift tonight. Thanks for a great a challenge this week. (And, thanks for looking.)
Lee, I know this is pushing it for CAS, I'm combining VSN cards with challenges from the last couple weeks. Here's my card, DEC19VSND Snowflakes and Santa
Here is are my snowflakes covering my pretty evergreen tree just waiting to be a part of someone's Christmas celebrations: Thinking of You This Season!
