Best colors to use with Snowfront & Waterfront?
I have both sets but have yet to use them. Just curious what your favorite colors are to use for the mountains, grass, water, shadows, etc.
I know everyone's different and it depends on what I like, just curious what everyone's elses favorites are.

I just ordered Snowfront so I can't say anything about that one yet.
For Waterfront, I like the blue-greens for the water...those that tend more to blue than green. Sometimes I stamp-off the darkest colors.
For the grassy areas, a green that tends to the yellow.
For the trees, a dark green that is also yellow (I use mossy meadow a lot!)
The mountains usually throw me. I like the idea of blues, but they never look right. I use a medium to light brown or brownish-gray mostly.
I recently saw a wonderful monochromatic card done in all grays. I am going to have to try that one!

I would have to add that I see a lot of cards that use the different elements in that set in a way different way than my thoughts. Great use, but different. You might just do a google search for "stampin up waterfront" and notice the TON of samples that are there. There's some beauties!

I like the mountains in purple - or blackberry stamped off
really any color that's "natural" for trees, land, water, etc
I did a snow front card with all smoky slate - turned out great and one with silver ink (on green) turned out pretty cool
