love this challenge- got to use up food labels, embossed quilt design blocks, and fabric scraps all in one card for my collage. I spent alot of the day working on designing and hand piecing an 8 point star to cover rips in a favorite Halloween quilt. That star is in the foreground of the card photo. Added some texture with dry embossing and fabric bits, and embellished with enamel dots. Here's Halloween mish-mash

Sanded Snowflakes
For two challenges: snowflakes are hand embossed and sanded down to reveal the light core of the blackboard cardstock, and no stamps used...the other elements are a scrapbooking sentiment and some ribbon . Sanded Snowflakes by Vannie - at Splitcoaststampers
I hope this doesn't encourage any more snow in our area. We have already had it a couple times. We can see snow on the mountains all around this valley. (That is where I like it to stay!)
It is rare that I do not use any stamps on the front of the card. So glad to find a challenge that works for this kind of card.

I used rub-ons from my stash instead of a stamp. As you can see the rub-ons do not want to transfer anymore, hence the cracks on some of the letters. Any solutions? I was thinking of transferring as many as I could onto strips of card stock for later use. Maybe red, green, or black. What do you all think?
