Happy Mix-Ability day! For this week's challenge, incorporate the 2019 Pantone Color of the Year into your mixed media project!
Here's Living Coral:
For extra bonus challenge fairy points, add in some other colors from the beautiful photo above.
Remember, for your project to truly qualify as mixed media, you need to use at least 2 different types of art media. You can click HEREfor a list of supplies you could choose from.
Please remember to put in the correct keyword (MIX312) when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. Then come back to this thread and paste a link to the card in your gallery so we can all ooh and ahhh! Go forth and create!
Big thanks to Jessica (Inkin One) for guesting with me today and making a sample to share! She used coral Distress ink mixed with gesso for her stenciling, and worked in a gel transfer, acrylic paint, colored pencil, Distress and oxide inks on her collaged journal page.
Thanks for the fun challenge, Dina! A couple of my balloons are coral & a few others are one of the pinks in the bonus section. Here's my Heart Balloons. Thanks so much for looking.
I am looking forward to challenging myself to use a variety of art media. This card uses Classic Ink and Stampin Blends. Along with the coral (which is NOT a color I go to often), I'm going for a few additional fairy points as well, by adding shades of blue, pink and yellow similar to those in the fish photo above.
Here’s my take on the challenge.

I used embossing (emboss resist) & gelatos for the first time. I’m not much of a mixed media girl so I hope it meets the challenge. If not, let me know.
I achieved the Pantone coral color as part of my sunset sky sponged colors. I also added some of the "dessert" colors in the card: gold and tan hues. My mixed media: ink sponging, ink stamping, Copic marker coloring: pussywillows & pearls.
