I am making some cards to donate to a local senior citizen gift shop. I don't want the cards damaged and remembered seeing some sort of protective sleeve in which the card can slip still revealing the front and interior. I have no idea what they are called or where to get them. Do they come in assorted sizes as my cards are also varied sizes. Can you help?
Has anyone come across any that cover both the outside and entire inside too, but allow the card to be opened?
Guessing it would have to have removable adhesive strips and fold lines, or inserting the card into a full coverage flap wouldn’t work without bending it.
Clearbags.com sells clear greeting card jackets that slip over the front and back of the card- like the book covers we had to make for school books.
Use the online chat feature and they will send you some samples.
My sister and I were just looking at these yesterday. The jackets are a little pricier than the bags but they showcase both the outside and inside of your card.
I contacted Clearbags to see if they had jackets available for top-fold cards, which I prefer. None available, and no plans to add these jackets in the foreseeable future. :(

This product is Jacket-like sleeves, clear/transparent material with 1.2 mil thickness and sized at 5-15/16” x 8-7/8”, the sleeve fits over the card like a book cover.
This product works as intended, but I find the material a bit thin/flimsy. I would look for something different, with thicker material, for myself if I needed to get more.
My Notes:
* plastic is fairly thin and flimsy
* Will fit a standard sized A2 card with an envelope
* No adhesive or ziplock closure
* Allows customer to see inside protected card
* Not pre-scored down the middle; Reinforce the center crease with a bone folder after the card & envelope are inside
* The jacket does not completely cover the inside, leaving it exposed to getting dirty from touching

Thank you,

I have been buying them for years from a company called Clear Bags (online). They come in many different sizes and are very reasonably priced but you need to buy them in bulk.

Thank you for posting this. I’ve seen cards that are fully enclosed in a jacket, but have a small copy of the inside tucked in the back - or it says something like “inside is blank,” which could be a sticker on the jacket as well.
I found 2 sizes at the dollar store. 25 per package.
In what department did you find the card covers? I went to several dollar stores and they didn’t know where I should look. Most sent me to the party aisle for loot bags!
