WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY CHALLENGE MMTPT584 “ROAD TRIP TO LAKEVILLE”
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!
CHALLENGE:
OK TEApotters we are going on a road trip to Lakeville, Massachusetts. Along the way, some of us will probably go fishing, some will admire the scenery or some of us might make a quick stop at the Casino. Others will jump straight into their car or truck and drive directly to the lake.
Be inspired by any of these things for your card. To give Dan a heads-up that we TEApotters are on the way, an extra challenge will be to put a strip of DP or washi tape across the back of your envelope.
DESTINATION STATION:
Our destination this week is to Dan Carpentieri. Dan suffered a spinal cord injury over the summer which required an extremely painful surgery. He now has 2 metal rods and 16 screws in his cervical spine. Ouch! Dan spent three weeks in a rehab and is now home to continue his recovery. His daughter, an acquaintance of Jennifrann’s, mentioned he is starting to feel down and depressed and he could really use something to lift his spirits.
Jen brought Dan to our attention because if anyone could lift Dan’s spirits, we know the TEApotters can! Dan loves fishing, gambling and cars (particularly sports and antique cars). Let’s do what we do best and show Dan some love and help get him out of his funk.
Send cards to:
Dan Carpentieri
9 Panettieri Dr.
Lakeville, MA 02347
Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT584 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or just some warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Post your request HERE or send a PM to jacqueline.

I didn't know you could create a pin from your own photo album on your computer :p ....guess I figured that out this morning....here's my card for Dan..
I created a pin for my card. I'm lost as far as how to get it to my gallery. I've tried several things, like dragging and dropping or trying to get it from Pinterest to be uploaded. I'm not getting it. Help!

Jean open your pin in a new tab, then you can paste the url into the gallery uplaod by choosing the second option..it’ll say upload images from flickr, etc
Our road trip to Lakeville is back on track. The computer glitch seems to be fixed. Sorry I couldn't help with any instructions. It was a fluke that I was able to pin from my PC, then an even bigger fluke that I uploaded it here. I still don't know what I did to make it work.
The gallery for Dan is already terrific, thank you.

Unfortunately I was sick in bed all day yesterday - but at least that meant I missed the uploading issues .
Here's my card for Dan - MMTPT584 Gone Fishin'
I'm back in work tomorrow, so I'll mail it off then.
Thanks for a fun challenge, Susie. Masculine cards are a stretch for me, but Snoopy's there to save the day.
I may not comment till tomorrow or Friday, going back to bed after we've had dinner.
Late to the tea party again, but I've been thinking of Dan all week. Tried a few ideas, but my muse strayed. When she finally returned she made it easy on me. YAY! MMTPT584 In The Chips Thanks, Susie and Jen.
I'm really late with this thanks to my health again. Used a couple of retired SU sets: Card Games and Game Night with the matching designer paper. Still needs to be approved: blsr Card Game Winner by raduse - at Splitcoaststampers
