MMTPT583 ~ Sept 24, 2019 ~ Buzzing Into a New Year
WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY CHALLENGE MMTPT583 Buzzing Into a New Year
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot or from the challenge theme itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!
It's the last Tuesday of the month, so it's Tickle a Teapotter time again and this month we are delighted to have
Jen (Miss Boo) as yet another brand new guest hostess.
Here, in her own words, is her challenge for us:
As a former teacher, the beginning of a new year isn't January; it's September. (In Michigan, school usually doesn't start until after Labor Day.) I love everything about it: the cooler weather, apple orchards, new pencils with full erasers, etc.
Apples have become a symbol for a teacher, but there's something that probably likes them more. Bees. CHALLENGE:Be inspired by bees. It can be actual bee images or simply black and yellow stripes.
EPEC: (extra points for extra cookies): Include some apple red color on your card
DESTINATION STATION This week our destination is each other! Once a month, we send our cards to each other!
Check out THIS NEW THREAD in the TEApot Tuesday Extras Forum. If you are participating in the card exchange please go to this thread and follow the instructions. Make sure to sign up by bedtime on Saturday 28th September as I will do the draw the next morning. (I'll probably send the assignment PMs on Monday 30th, but please still sign up in good time as I am likely to prepare the spreadsheet on Sunday morning as normal).
Be sure to use KEYWORD MMTPT583 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card! Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Post your request HERE or send a PM to jacqueline.
I totally agree with Jen. Since having kids my NEW Year always started in August since our school year started the first of August. The last few weeks of July I would start thinking on ways to do the next school year better. I never made New Years resolutions in January. But I reevaluated in August my life plan. Great challenge!
This is a great tickle party! I have my bumble bee on my teapot!

Looking at your cards ladies, so beautiful and creative! Yesterday and today have just got away from me. LOL I am working on mine now. You gave me great inspiration!
ps Can someone send some 60 degree weather down here?

Finally got to play a little this week. Tweaked my back a bit, but am ok now.
Here's a little bee with the apple red, Jen. Thanks for a fun challenge. MMTPT583 Buzzer
