Hi, & Welcome to this week's Inspiration Challenge. This week we are headed to Burton and Burton. My grandmother was a florist for a years when she was a young bride and I have always enjoyed flower arranging so, Burton & Burton are wholesale suppliers for florists among other things. and I happened across them because, their name was printed on the backside of a floral arrangement card in some flowers I received recently. It looks like they have a gift type line they sell retail also.
Have fun with this, I am looking forward to see what sparks you all.
Use the keyword: IC720(no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words. Include your inspiration image in the description of your project being sure to only include links from Burton & Burton.
Use the Keyword IC720 Here is a link to the IC720 Gallery
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, I've uploaded 18 of my favorite designs.
So just stick with one of those for your inspiration.
Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
**Please note: If you are unable to view the Inspiration Site in your country, please use one of the pictures provided for you (thumbnails below). Unfortunately, we have no control over the sites' viewing areas. **
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery post in this thread. Thanks for Joining along with us! If you would like the chance to guest design with us, simply PM one of the IC hostesses with a site that has not been used before. If your site is selected we will send you a PM with all the details for your week as Guest Designer!
NEED HELP GETTING A LINK TO YOUR INSPIRATION PICTURE? Since so many are having trouble grabbing the link to just one picture, please try this:
If you are unable to grab the link of your chosen picture, (on some sites, you can't, it only gives a link to the whole collection), hover over the picture in the collection that you want to link to. On a windows machine, right click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture.

Stacy- great site for inspiration! I recently visited Disney World in Florida ( around the time of one of the latest hurricanes) and got a chance to walk around my favorite park, Animal Kingdom- it was a wonderful trip- and that's what inspired my card. As for my animal choices, the Plush Geri Giraffe was another source of influence. I went retro with my stamped tv image and sentiment, adding stickers for my zebra and giraffe. Background gold striped paper is actually wrapping paper, and my bronze brown panels are from a chocolate bar wrapper. Here's zebra tv

Wonderful website!! So much to choose from. I narrowed it down to butterflies as I wanted to also do the Ways to Use It challenge, and even then there was tons to choose from. Here's my card:
Stacy - you picked a super website for today - so much to inspire here - unfortunately my creative mojo was a dry as the West Texas ground in my yard - I started with a cork deer with lackluster results moved on to wine glasses-nothing productive there, tried ornaments that totally didn't work today and finally went back to the deer revamping my original idea 180 degrees. I finally got a postable card 5 hours later but with a few more hiccups along the way.
I used to use Burton & Burton for their balloons when I ran my own Singing Telegram biz, but I couldn't pass up your angel selection. Love that this turned out so non traditional for a Christmas card. Thanks so much, Stacy! IC720 Ice Angel
I am playing challenge catch-up. Here are the two {Burton & Burton} inspiration that started my much needed sympathy card I was waiting to create when my hands recovered from surgery: the Rustic Wood/ Metal Cross Shelf Sitter, which gave me the idea for a scrolled pattern for my "stained glass window design" and: the Cross ornament, which suggested using a soft blue for my church window color.
