Hi, Linda here starting this week's Favorites Thread.
I was reading today that September 14th is National Coloring Day here in the USA. Seems to be just made for all us card crafters who do oodles of coloring every week! It was instituted in 2015 to promote the arts in schools when so many institutions were cutting the art and music programs due to lack of funding. So get out your crayons, markers, colored pencils or watercolor and get creative - even better if you can share this joy with a child.
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week, Sunday, Sept. 8 through Saturday, Sept. 14. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.
Got a CAS card favorite? Look for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week thread in the Favorites Forum.
Our dedicated team members are on the job delivering notifications and smiles:

Sabrina (Cook22), Nancy (nwilliams6), Carla (Covington Crafter), Kia (kiagc), Amy (Kalla Walla), Linda (bubblestx4), and Angie (ohmypaper!)
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be.
You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you.
Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site orprepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
The card maker’sSCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU listed in your favorites for this week.

Thank you Linda for starting the thread and thank you to all the wonderful volunteer notifiers for taking the time to send the love to the amazing crafters on this thread.
With work and working on a mini album, I have had very little time in the gallery. I tried to go through a week's worth of cards tonight, so I know I missed a lot. Here are some that caught my eye.
Rejoice- jai by AnniePanda ( I like the look of string pull, but the resulting panels are too CAS for me to be likely to send. I love what Joyce Ann did with hers, opens up more likelihood of me trying this again)
My thanks as always to those who generously give their time to notify us each week, and equally it's a gift of time to make the effort to list a few cards and share the warm fuzzies that way.

Good day everyone! SPECTACULAR to be noticed and favorited by Lisa aka:shoe girl for a cover of a handmade journal/scrapbook. so surprised to hear from several folks, but loved hearing from everyone who enjoyed it. thought I was mostly posting it to show it to Nancy aka;nwilliams6, as we had conversed about us both making scrapbooks for Ireland about the very same time. : ) anyway, THANKS a million Lisa, for making me feel overly special, this a.m.
BIG HUG to Sabrina for making the notification today. really appreciate hearing from you under any circumstances and especially this ;)
Liz, aka lazylizard thank you so much for including my Garden Collage Card in your list of favorites this week! I am thrilled. Kia thanks for giving me a heads up. Big smiles here!

Oh, how sweet! I wish to send a big thank you to two sweet ladies for submitting my card and layout. Sabrina and Jayne, you ladies made my day!
I haven't spent much time checking out everyone's work for a while, but hope to get back into it. I did find one during the few moments I took the other day.
