Default PixScan Calibration Issue - HELP!

I recently ordered a PixScan mat and when I calibrated my camera, the cut was off.

I can't find a way to delete the profile for my camera so I can re-calibrate and use the darn mat.

I've emailed Silhouette but their replies are ridiculous (plus it takes at least 2 days to reply) so I've had the mat for over a week and can't use it.

Example of ridiculous (snippets and some paraphrasing):

1st email:

Me: I calibrated my camera but the cut is off. Can you please advise how to RE-calibrate the camera as I no longer have the option to calibrate since I've already performed this function.

Silhouette: Here is a link on how to calibrate your camera (provides link)

2nd email:

Me: Thanks for the link but I already calibrated my camera. My question is how do I RE-calibrate. Is there a way to remove the current camera profile so I can do it again. There is no longer a "calibrate" option choice since I already calibrated my camera.

Silhouette: (direct quote) Thanks for your email. Are you able to select the calibration and delete it from the Silhouette Studio?

Arrrrgggggghhhhhhhh.

So, anyone know how to remove the calibration????

TIA,

Kelly Bee

Don't know how to re-calibrate....but, I would call them. They have always been very helpful over the phone and walked me through whatever steps I needed to do. Hope you get it figured out. I haven't ordered the PixScan mat, yet and now I'll wait for your answer from Silhouette, in case I have the same problem. Best of luck.

I saw a tutorial on calibration on youtube. This woman on Life and Creating posted the video and she may have answers on her blog or you may be able to ask her. Here is the youtube video I watched. Silhouette PixScan Camera Calibration - YouTube

By the way, this woman had already loaded her camera ealier but was doing again to show you how. That may help....

I had the same issue and I called the silhoutte support team and they were very helpful. The problem to begin with was the updates to the silhoutte studio. To actually see the camera button, we had to downgrade the version to 3.8. But you needn't have to do that bec. the answer lies right before your nose.... It was that camera icon next to the scanner icon. After you print out those dots for print calibration, all you have to do is take the picture with your camera like usual and upload it to silhoutte studio and it will automatically bring up your camera's name like usual. (This is for the PIXSCAN) I hope that I've explained it to you clearly.
