WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY CHALLENGE MMTPT581 “B-I-N-G-O”
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!
CHALLENGE: Let's play Bingo today! I've filled a Bingo card with some of our recipient's favorite things (cats, frogs, blue, yellow). Pick a row - horizontal, vertical, diagonal - and use those elements. Can't wait to see all the fun cards.
DESTINATION STATION: Susie is a close family friend of Jacqueline and has known her since she was a toddler. Susie has been going back and forth between the hospital and rehab for a few months now with various ailments. She was in the hospital for one thing, fell while she was in there and was sent to a rehab facility. While in rehab, she developed an infection that led to sepsis and sent her back to the hospital. Susie's husband, Alan, suffered a mild stroke just prior to all this and is supposed to be taking it easy; however, he is now having to tend to Susie and is driving back and forth to the hospital, rehab and keeping up with the house as well as his doctor appointments and medical needs. There is no telling how much longer Susie will be in the hospital/rehab so Jacqueline thought a few cards might help keep her spirits up and offer some encouragement and comfort.

I've been absent from the Teapot Challenges for too long! Here's my card for Susie--off to get it in the mail!

Thank you all for making these fun cards for Susie. I send her cards occasionally and she loves them so she is going to be floored when she receives all these beauties!
My mojo is finally coming back...slowly but surely. Here is the card I made for Susie using the top row of Jen's fun BINGO challenge: yellow, diecuts, and sparkles. I also included frogs.
Jen, this was such a fun challenge. My heart truly goes out to this recipient and all she and her husband are going through. I hope and pray that better days are right around the corner for both of them. Here is my card: MMTPT581 Sunshine Prayers by Art Deco Diva - at Splitcoaststampers. Thanks for looking. ~Karen.
so so very late as hubby in hospital since last Sat, and few days of baby sitting, so managed over several days to make my card---will comment on cards as soon as can
Just wanted to let everyone know that Susie had called me yesterday to say thank you - she was floored at all the beautiful cards she's been receiving. Alan has been bringing them to the hospital where she displays them in her room. She said the nurses come in and admire them too! Thanks teapotters - this has truly helped lift her spirits and is much appreciated.
I love these BINGO challenges...thanks for your wonderful idea, Jen. Sorry I couldn't play when it came out...so I'm playing challenge catch-up! My bingo lineup is from top right to bottom left and includes these three items incorporated into my card...sparkle, plaid, ribbon.
