I am not sure where to post this, hopefully this is ok here. I just want to stop and say how much I love the SCS community! Everyone here is so helpful with everything from organizing the craft room to helping using the website. I have met some many great ladies here. All of the challenges, are so creative! The color challenges many times are not colors I would have placed together but, when I see the examples and try it, I am amazed! The sketch challenges have helped me look through my craft room and create a better card. You all have made time in my craft room more productive and fun.
Thank you to all that make this work. You are so appreciated !

Can I like your post 1000+ times please?!?!? SCS is my crafting home! The challenges rock, the DTGD and VSNs are SO fun, and the creative inspiration is endless here. I especially love all the tutorials and cute projects! And, yes, the SCS members are simply the nicest, friendliest people around! I'll shout out my gratitude, too!
Ditto what y'all have said! This site and my email are the only places online that I go to consistently. I was a lurker for the first six or so years, and now you can't shut me up, lol!

I was a "lurker" for a while too. I joined for the gallery. I started my gallery and added regularly. Didn't get drawn in to the forums because I didn't think that I would enjoy that part.
Then it was shut down for a while and to get my fix I had to start reading in the forums. You see where it got me? A regular of regulars. ;):p
I love SCS! You are a source of inspiration and encouragement! Thank you for all you do. I'm sure it takes a lot of time and effort. You are greatly appreciated!
Oh Sue Ellen I needed to hear this today! I could not agree more. I have learned so much from everyone here, been inspired by such creative challenges and encouraged by all the acts of kindness.
You've made my day! <3 I also love your John Muir quote and believe it with all my heart.
I'm pretty much a lurker, I'm afraid. But I do LOVE SCS! I've gotten so much information and inspiration here. And yes today is a very good day to express the appreciation for all of those who work so hard to make SCS such a fantastic place. AND also to all of my fellow crafters who are so generous with your knowlege and willing to share and applaud each other's successes!
I also love SCS!! I was AWOL for quite a while, but really the friendly gals here. When I came back I got into some of the forums. I haven't done much posting for quite a while - just a comment here and there.
My crafting time has been eaten up with my DH's health care issues - doctor appts, hospitalization, more dr. appts, more dr. appts, I'm sure you get the picture.
I have continued with BRAK and I love making and sending cards for that.
I would like too get back to the Teapotters. I enjoyed that immensely.
I read the Weekly Inkling every week and stay up on that.
I've learned so much from my time at SCS.
So thankful also for this site and the ones that work to keep it going! I have made some awesome internet friends on here and have learned so much for cardmaking and scrapbooking. Such an awesome group of people!!!
I am bad at this but here goes...I have a bit more. One of the great things about here is our ability to be spontaneously silly/fun within the context of the thread. (aka I am not trying to highjack it)
I'd like to buy the world a home
And furnish it with crafts
With rubber stamps & die cut tools
And paper in tall stacks
I'd like to teach the world to crop
In perfect harmony
I'd like to hold SCS in my arms
And keep it company
I'd like to see the world for once
All standing cards in hand
And hear them echo through the hills
For inks throughout the lands
I'd like to teach the world to smoosh
Paint, emboss and inlaying
I'd like to show the world SCS
Know joy, fun and company
That's the real thing
The metrics are terrible. Someone who can carry a tune should fix this.

Thanks. Kim (Berlycece) gave me a couple of lines there with better metrics than mine.
This would not seem it, but I am in a dark place right now, and the gallery lifts me daily. Seeing what you guys make always makes me smile. That IS the real thing.
