******************************** Howdy all! Your sketch this week has a few stripey layers and a fun circular element! Have a great time with this sketch! Enjoy!
loved this sketch as it allowed me to repurpose the elements from disassembled cards I have made and recombine them into new creations! I used dry embossed borders with vintage manual typewriter keys as the theme, and used a woodgrain stamp paired with woodgrain washi tape for the top skinny band. Added varied blue bands, with "give thanks" and scalloped arches washi tapes. I had a double stamped embossed image of a sailing ship, and I used an offset collage style partial frame behind it. Finished with a twine band and baker's twine bow. Here's Nautical Thanks

I am playing my "Challenge Catch-up." This is a January 2022 birthday card for my husband's brother.
Sketch Tweaking: Sketch features 4 horizontal strips on a cardbase with a circle at right lower side. I exchanged the 4 strips to 4 horizontal sponged color bands and I changed circle shape to a quadrilateral in the same position.
