Favourites for the week ending August 31st, 2019
It's Sabrina here starting this week's Favorites Thread.
I hope that all those in the States are enjoying the Labour Day holiday weekend - and that those in Florida especially stay safe.
It's the last day of August, and autumn is definitely arriving here - the mornings are turning distinctly nippy and the evenings are getting longer.
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week, Sunday 25th August through Saturday, 31st. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.
Got a CAS card favorite? Look for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week thread in the Favorites Forum.
Our dedicated team members are on the job delivering notifications and smiles: this week we have Carla (Covington Crafter),Bev (guneauxdesigns),Kia (kiagc), Linda (bubblestx4), Angie (ohmypaper!) and myself, with a special thanks to Stacy (jbgreendawn) for stepping in while Janine is travelling.
Thank you to everyone who takes time to share one or a few cards here - I always love seeing cards that I would otherwise have missed. You don't have to actually add them to your Favourites ;-), feel free to just share a couple of cards that really caught your eye this week.

Helpful hints and tips
EVERYONE is invited to join in!
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you.
Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
- That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site or prepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
- The card maker’s SCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
- It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
- And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.

Big Thanks to Sabrina for getting the favorites thread started this week. It's a beautiful Sunday here as a "cold front" moved in which means it will ONLY get up to about 96 today . . but so much more bearable than the 104 - 106 temps we've had for the past weeks.
I am blessed to get some happy mail this morning and want to send out my thanks toNiki and Jen(msBoo) for adding my Boneyard Jig card to their list of fav's and to Anne and Dagmar for fav-ing my Southwest Sunrise card today. I always love the comments that are left on my cards and getting special recognition here is just the frosting on the cake so to speak! I'll be happy dancing ALL day! Bev I truly appreciate you giving your time to send out happy mail notifications - Hope you ALL have a super Sunday!
