I rarely post on SCS, but this is such a great cause that I wanted to help. I am sending 25 cards today, wish I could be sending more.

Thank you Jeri! I really enjoyed making the cards this month and hope to bring smiles to some folks who can use it. This month, all of the cards I made were created using two of the one-sheet wonder templates. I found that the bases went together pretty quickly. Prior to this, I have been following Kristie Marcotte's 6x6 tutorials and usually snag some of her sketches, but I'm thinking the one-sheet wonders are a really good and quick alternative when I want to make a lot of cards at once!

I was a bit delayed in sending out my package, but it went today. Tracking number is 9505 5110 0797 9240 5076 86. I saw others posting tracking numbers before, so I am doing the same thing, but I am curious as to how that is used. Is it to confirm all known packages have arrived to their destination? Thanks again for humoring a newbie - I'll learn all of the ins and outs eventually.

You can go to Welcome | USPS and select TRACK up at the top, put in your tracking number and you can see if your package has been delivered or where it is in the process'

so i know i'm late - but wanted to make sure i got these out before the storm hit.

and in case anyone out there has any extra prayers -
we here in Florida sure could use a few right about now!
we've got 4 more days of fretting before Dorian hits - at current projections -
and it's not going to be fun for anyone in the state.
The storm is now over 200 wide - and likely to continue growing -
meaning anywhere it hits will create havoc everywhere!!

Becca - you don't have to post a tracking number...some do and some don't...it's purely your choice.

I totally agree with you about the one sheet wonder cards...I usually make cards in batches....at least 6 of the same card at a time. I'm part of a Senior Angel program and I have 4 seniors that I write to every week so that is 4 cards right off the bat of the 6 I make...then that leaves me 2 for my stash or to send to friends, family, or church family. And of course....the cause for the month

I'm so glad that you all enjoyed this months Cause! And now that it's the last day of the month....it's time to post the September cause...and guess what?? It's posted! I'm excited about it because it's a new organization for us... Enjoy!!
