Hello everyone...Cathy here with this week's Ways to Use It Challenge, "It's All in the Text."
Your challenge is to use text or print on your card. The text can be stamped, seen on designer paper or can actually be a page from an old book, but must be more than just a sentiment...although a sentiment could be stamped multiple times to create a background. I have two samples to share with you: You're a Class Act Back to School Check the thumbnails below to see more beautiful samples using print or text by Lisa, Carla and Sabrina.
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how: 1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE
Cathy- great challenge, thanks! I went with a fall theme as I rediscovered this cool autumn words large stamp, which I embossed for my background- adding an embossed sentiment circle in the middle of my card. Also found these wonderful fall leaves stickers, so combined a set of bows with them. I fussy cut my branch and birds, which I propped up with dimensionals. Finished with a sewn on plaid offset background and 3 adhesive dots. Here's WT753 Autumn Wishes

Cathy I love love this challenge!! I love adding text papers to my cards, when I am able to do it.
