My Favorite Things stamps just lowered their free shipping to any $25 or over order. Yeahhhh!! This just plain makes me happy.
I have always preferred to shop at B&M shops but some of my favorite shops have started being open less days, closing early on Saturdays, or not being open at all on the weekend. I live in a rural area and need to travel to shop and the new hours have made it difficult for me to shop at these stores. Although I would like to support local businesses I have found myself doing a lot more shopping online. The one B&M store I have still been shopping at is open 7 days a week, 10:00 to 5:00. When stores make it easy to shop, I shop. It is also really easy for me to have a $25 order. I love MFT stamps and the $25 free shipping is a great deal.
I really feel for the small shop owner, but I can't deny store hours and ease of shopping are really important.
I like everything about My Favorite Things~~stamps, dies, cardstock, prompt shipping and nice packaging. And then there is always a signed note from the person who did your order and a little jelly belly, too! The free shipping on orders over $25 is a real bonus!
I guess it is time to take a good look. That is awesome for free shipping! I had been studying white cardstock looking for the best price including shipping. Their's was fairly low priced per sheet. Thanks for sharing this offer.

Ilove their stamps too, they have so many cute animal characters. It's a good feeling too to support a local business, as for me they are in my neck of the woods in south Florida. It's located in a very small town, (small town compared to st pete where I live that is ) one of these days I need to see their store. mmmm it could be dangerous though LOLOLOL

I live less than 20 miles from their store which is in Central Florida and have visited many times. It is definitely worth the trip if your family is visiting the theme parks in Orlando and you need a side trip.
That is good news! Maybe others will follow and lower their exorbitant free shipping costs levels. I just won't shop online when I have to pay $7+ for shipping one small item and I'm not the stamper that spends $75 a one time...
Excellent news! I quit ordering because it seemed like everything I wanted was Out of Stock every time except for one or two other items and so I would never be able to get to $75. I can get to $25, though. They are smart to do this. I know many others feel the same way I do. They are frequently out of stock, so newbies to MFT be forewarned. ;-)
That $25 free ship is great. I am not a fan of MFT products as they do not lend themselves to my style. But I had to respond to your post as I am in agreement with you regarding actual shops versus online. I find myself hardly going to stores anymore. Maybe it's our local stores who never seem to have what I am looking for, and I see plenty of other crafters who have found items I would buy. I don't shop one online store either, but I do usually wait until I can order enough to get free shipping, and I will rarely shop at stores that don't offer some form of discount on shipping. I really would love to be able to help small business but I need my dollar to go as far as the next guys!
