Question New to Scrapbooking: Adhesives

Hello!
I hope that this finds you well. I am finally scrapbooking in earnest instead of hoarding scrapbooking paper. I was curious what adhesives you use for your papers and larger memorabilia. I was a stampinup demo for around 2 years, so I mostly use Tombow glue and tape runners. I am hopeful this would last through a scrapbooks longevity. What adhesive do you use in your scrapbook?

I have been using Scotch Create (tacky glue). I used to LOVE using Scrappy Glue but it is no longer available.

After that is't the Hermafix tape runners (dots and tabs). And glue dots.

I just bought double sided craft tape...but I haven't used it yet. It's on my next project list.

I mostly use an ATG with acid free tape and various liquid adhesives.

I too will add a vote for the Scotch ATG. Before that it was Creative Memories tape adhesive.

Maple Leaf

Xpress tissue tape and Dries Clear Art Glitter Glue. Xpress tape comes in 3 widths. I still use photo squares to mount pictures in my scrapbook.

Default Scrapbooking Adhesive

I've used the EK Tools Germs ditto repositionable adhesive. Allows you to reposition your paper if needed. For embellishments and permanent positioning I use Art Glitter adhesive. Hope this helps.

the scotch glue stick is what I use for making my paper beads and I love it!! I don't know if it would hold up on scrapbooking though. art glitter glue is a great glue. there is also some little sheets of 2 sided sticky back 3m brand, that I used to get from blitsy, there was 10 sheets, 4 x 6 inches and I have used them a lot for a lot of different things. there are other brands, but they are MUCH more expensive than the ones I used to get. don't know if they still have them or not. those are just another option for doing different things and they hold up well. patty

I've been using the new double-sided tape that bought recently. The Score-tape in 1/4 inch.

It's my new love!! It's super sticky. Goes on clean. Strong. I can't believe I haven't used it sooner...

Thank you for that. I looked a few years after it was discontinued where I normally bought it and never found it again. When I bought glue awhile ago, I just searched for PVA glue and found the Tacky Glue.

Off to buy some Scrappy Glue!
