WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY CHALLENGE MMTPT577 “You're the Boss”
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!
CHALLENGE & DESTINATION STATION: This week we are sending cheer to a fellow SCSer. Vicki aka basement stamper has been AWOL for awhile. She's been having some health issues and recently had back surgery and is now doing physical therapy. Vicki likes reading, baking, biking, crafting (of course) and she has a Dachshund dog.
FYI-Vicki has been active in the gallery the last few weeks but I'm sure as many of you can attest back issues can take a long time to recover from. I know she will appreciate your messages of cheer and encouragement. :p
For your challenge this week I'm appointing each of you your own boss....emboss that is! Use some embossing on your card, heat or dry embossing or if you want to break out of your rut try one of these techniques:
Be sure to use the keyword MMTPT577 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card.
Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or just some warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Post your request HERE or send a PM to jacqueline.
Polly here is my card and it will be on it's way to Vicki tomorrow. Thanks!

I did a combo with Lydia's DTGD 2nd challenge, resulting in a very determined, but not so cheery looking card for Vicki. The inside is funny with some wiener dogs stamped inside and the words, "and Dachshunds". Both images on front were heat embossed. Thanks, Polly.
I had a hard time uploading my card this week...it was too big to attach using my phone...finally had a chance to upload on a desktop. Anyway, here are some doggy kisses for Ms. Vicki:
Wow guys!!! You all are completely AMAZING!!!! I'm still continuing receiving cards in the mail and I will post more photos soon of your amazing artowork! I had NO IDEA why all of these SCS people were sending me cards and how they knew about my back problems! LOL!! Thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart for EACH and every one that I have received so far! I have loved reading each hand written message and notes inside filled to the brim with encouragement to keep going! It has really brought me to tears I have to be honest! I have never received so many cards like this in all my years and it's really overwhelming!
For my back issues. I stll am dealing with problems as unfortunately the procedure was not meant to TOTALLY take pain away or at least not "garunteed" to anyway. So I basically continue with my exercises at home and have to REALLY watch myself from being a position for too long. Not sure if I'll have to go back to the doctor, but at this point the pain is more managable than it was 6 weeks or so ago!
I did have a very sweet doxie named Mocca, but unfortunately, she had some severe complications and I lost her in February of last year. It was painful for me to really even bring it up. She is greatly missed still in my heart. Maybe some day I can bring myself to bring another fur friend in my life, but hubby is retiring next year and we will have travel plans. For now, I'm very busy and happily crafting away until then.
Thanks again from the bottom of heart...you have no idea how much I appreciate each and every one of you!! HUGS and SCS friends forever
